Jimski grow journal #2 Back to my roots

So 4x4 tent with 3 doors. I can not use this tent I have. 2 ways to go.
Tent only 1 more light and a 6 inch duct kit w filter. Can use with existing controllers. 460 bucks. Get me 450 watts of light total and I swap everything from small tent to bigger tent.
Complete tent kit with 400 watts of light. 6 inch duct kit 3 doors and the standard starter kit with trellis pots and snips.
$569 on sale. Gives me a total of 700 watts and an extra controller to balance the 150 watt lights with the 400 watt light.

Then If i want to I can expand grow with a veg tent and a flower tent with more lights and environmental controls.

Sigh......

sounds like you have some work cutout for yourself. I laugh because I am also thinking about a 4 by 4 . my girls are so packed together. makes me sad for em.

Cal-mag finally having an effect. Smaller spots and no edge damage and no yellowing.
Watered to damp bottom of fabric pots for both. No runoff after 15 minutes. Foop nutes at week 6 and cal-mag plus at 5ml per gallon
All plants stayed in place. 65 for a few tips 55 for most buttons at 40 ish.
Small plant looks good on flowers just the leaves exiting look rough.

And fyi the starter kit quart size foop gets 2 plants to the end of week 6. $49 bucks. Get the gallon kit $99. The gallon kit only need a quart of of the sugar mix gunna have that left over.
Had a couple of growers stated this was a nutes burn. After reviewing lots of website the only users that posted this situation also had root bound plants in smaller fabric pots. The first sign was eruption of roots through the top of the media.. the small plant started this about 14 days ago.
Still think it was missing a dry cycle for my plants when I did not check weight.

After 33 years of marriage I do not feel the need to sell this to my wife but I do have to sell it to myself.
The last big did not really need it hobby purchase was a shotgun. I bought a pump shotgun with twin tubes that holds 15 rounds. I installed a holo sight and a light. Single point sling and a bitchpad for the stock. Then my right leg starts hurting and I got $1500 into an excellent shotgun for timed shotgun runs and then 3 surgeries, SSDI and now I clean my safe every 6 months.

And now grow cannabis.

Ik it's kinda rough rn with federal funding as well. I'm sorry to hear about your leg . I'm glad you found a new hobby though that can better suit your current mobility. I hope your hanging in there with all the craziness going on rn .

Lmao I just upgraded from a 2 by 2 to a 2 by 4 last night . Bought the tent and the extra lights already on the way . Must of been in the air or something .

Dude strait up If I decided this whole thing was a bust cause I can not tend to the gardens needs I was going to sell the whole thing and just buy pot at the dispensary. Wife and I talked and she said if it will cut down the cussing from the basement do it.
Long story short the only thing not being used is the tent it's self. Every other components is going into the larger tent. I have decided to run the big light on one controller and the 2 smaller ones on the present controller. This gives me the option of 2 light strengths in the same tent. Already did the planning the big 400 watt and the 2 smaller 150 watts will all fit. I will take 1 square foot for the condensate tank for the humidifier but that still means I am going from 6.7 square feet to 15 square feet of space. 80 inches tall hell I could stand up in the darn thing. 6 inch exhaust and I have an extra 4 inch to do stuff with.

I hate smoking in the house but in the winter I stick a fan in the window and smoke in the bedroom. This really does not work. Thinking this small tent will wind up on the porch with a chair and a space heater inside.
 
Update.
Fed larger plant week 8 foop 6.4 pH cal-mag plus at 3ml gallon rate.
Inspection finds fade continuing with crappy leaves on small plant and yellow leaves on larger plant pulled to the best of my ability, so nothing from the rear of the plants.
Pics whole plant, 2 buds and trics on those specific buds.

All trics now cloudy. Looking for some amber in my life.

Watered small plant at 5pm 1.7 liters 6.35 foop at week 8 cal-mag plus at 3 ml per gal rate

Right side of plant hydrophobic and had a hard time getting water in. Left side would swallow in seconds what the right side took 45 seconds. Will be interested in seeing what is up with the roots.
All trics cloudy except larfy suckers at bottom of stems. No signs of amber. No idea how long the tric breakdown takes as I am sure it is very environmental in nature and would be hard to have a standard timeframe for amber to appear.

Last few weeks has been a dance with temps and humidity. I wanted to run at 65 at lights out but with warm weather but not warm enough to run house ac sometimes to get under 50% the temp lands at 68 or so.

Today while watering a single tiny gnant flew over my shoulder and into the tent and landed right on a sticky trap. I dribbled a plop of foop on its pesky head and left him as a warning to others.

Update
Start of week 10 of flower
Ordered Vivosun remote sensor probe. This one now has a 1 degree up and down from 75 it reads .9 low and at 65 it reads .2 low. All ACi sensors and my growee sensors are within .2
Another reason to track everything. By tracking correction fluid amount for pH adjustment I have been able to nail the pH range with one adjustment. Yesterday this did not work as I was at 6.61 after adjustment.
Instead of adjusting I recalibrated the PH pen. Corrected pen read 6.36

This made more sense to me as If you are putting in the same amount in the same container at the same temp it should be the same reading. If I would have adjusted the mix it would have been at 5.9 or so out of the range.

Plants seem stalled. Cloudy trics but buds have stopped shrinking and no new growth. Fade continues and smaller plant has almost no older fans as they have all faded. Larger plant blushing white but even this seems to fade and come back.

Holding pattern as I wait for amber to appear.
 
Update

Fed both plants at week 8 nutes cal-mag plus at 3ml gallon rate.

Defoled a bit. Light check tops 60k lux button button 32k

Yeah this time of year the Midwest likes to jump from hot and humid to cold and dry . Every 12-24 hours I'm adjusting things . Although with my new smart humidifier I just put in, it's taken alot of the work out . They got a decent 3g smart controlled humidifier by vivosun for 60$ . Pricy for a humidifier you might think. But haven't had to touch anything since I've installed it .
 
The only time I find myself really stressed is the day and night that was around 72-67. The heat and the AC are not needed so the only thing running was a 1500 square foot dehumidifier.

But next grow will be in a much smaller room where the dehuey will actually work and I can run the drain to the same spot as the A coil condensate drain for the whole house part of the heat pump. Separate locked door and not 40 inches from a 10x8 glass basement walkout.

Defoled a bit ( what I could reach)
Pots heavy yet.
No signs of amber.
