Jobless... Growing is the only option, opinions on the setup?

Hi y'all, with jobs pretty much non-existant in rural western england it's a pretty dire situation. Hence to make end's meet Imma have to grow. I'd like some opinons on a possible grow setup. Here's the plan, wardrobe one containing a 300w cfl and 2 plants, wardrobe two with a 125w cfl on 18/6 to make clones every 40 days. The strain I'd be growing is 'quick skunk' as the seeds are about £15 and 40 days veg, 40 flowering (theoretically). I know you can pretty much never predict a yeild even down to an ounce range but growing in compost, two plants under a 300w, what would be a realistic figure using a small amount of nutrients (no, not miracle grow but something inexpensive). I don't need the weed to be the most potent in the world, 'dank' (as y'all americans would say) or sticky, it just needs to be there. Are there any tips I could gleam from you folks as to a possible yeild boost, i'm not looking for pounds of the stuff just a bit to help support the kids since British Steel layed off everybody and the farm jobs have been tooken by eastern-europeans. You're all a lot more experienced than me but I'm sort of desperate - I know growing good weed is hard but seeing some of the shite you get around here I'm pretty sure anything is better than what you can buy from the trailerhood dealer.

I would train your plants via lst to get as broad of a canopy as possible on the 2, as well as topping/fimming to increase yields. If possible and room allows I would make it a perpetual setup so you are getting a harvest every month or so. If you are running a 40 day flower plant (which you wont know for sure unless you have run the strain before) Then you want to add more plants into flower halfway through flower so lets say 20 days based upon a 40 day flowering strain. This will ensure you are always producing. Big Bud and Top 44 would be 2 good strains to look at for fairly quick and heavy yields.

For the cloning aspect 24 hours of light is needed then 18/6 for veg.

I really think for your intentions perpetual is the key.

thanks, yeah i've been reading about all this, to be honest i've grown a few autos outside and they yeild about 20g each before for my own personal smoking but since the economic crash a reasonable large scale thing seems to be my only option.

Dam this just doesn't sound realistic to me. This is coming from someone who has used cfl's and now HID. That setup will not yield very much and in my opinion won't be dank. Not to scare you off but my opinion way the pros and cons first. Your right growing dank meds is hard, its not for everyone especially if you don't have the cash. You might want to try outdoors if possible. Im just trying to save you from taking a big loss of time and money. Good Luck though
