Jordan of the islands

I had a similar experience last seed starts, I did some reworking: Sex is determined around 3 weeks old(not yet visible). So I have been trying to keep stress to a minimum in the first 3 weeks- keep temps, humidity, and light consistant and start them in containers big enough they won't need transplanting for 3 weeks(solo cup or 4"). Got more fems this time 70% could be luck of the draw, but I'll try anything to avoid a sausage party!
Ya but i had 2 other strains that were almost 100% females that were growing with them. So i think it was just luck to get 5/5 males

Here are some 6 gods pink and 6 gods critical that went into flower a week ago and are about 6 weeks from seed now. Should be showing signs of sex pretty quick. Have 1 that looks unhappy.

How was the growth on your critical x god? Mine seemed to just crawl along incredibly slow. Yours seen twice the size for 6 weeks. Probs burnt one too many n did something backwards. :eyesmoke:

Growth seemed pretty good on both strains. Just short stalky plants. I did have a bunch of runts of both strains though. Looking like mostly males of course. 1 female of each strain ia all its looking like. So guess im breeding some f2 of each strains to get more seeds

First two are God's MAC, second two are God's Toxic(2 pic same plant).
God's MAC had smaller/tighter nugs and was super frosty(both plants). They smell amazing- airy, earthy and sweet
God's Toxic went a week longer, had bigger buds less frost nice and sticky. Only had one of these, it smells like sour citrus- pulls the corners of your nose up!
These girls did not get the best treatment... I had a fan go down while In was away working. I also rushed them into flower to sex them, should have given them another week in veg. All things considered they look and smell amazing, great job JOTI!

Awesome looking plants especially the second one!
Your plants look really dense and large for there foot print. That's how I like to grow plants, lots of small dense plants in a small space (2x4 flower tent). You get great gram per watt's, variate of phenotype's and or strains plus you can do staggered harvest so you always have plant in different stages of development and are periodically chopping something down.

I have a couple of questions if you don't mind.
what was your veg time, medium, gallon pots used, and height?

Good to know. I wasn't expecting such short plants. Had about 10 nodes in 6 inches yesterday before I cut a bunch of clones. Switched to flower too so I'm just behind ya.

Thank you for the vote of confidence!
I vegged these for 4 wks, mixture or promix HP(80-85%) and coco(15-20%), 3 gal pots(the ones I have are short and wide, I think the root mass shape effects the plant shape!), they finished 2-2.5 ft tall(from the top of the pot).
I am constantly looking for good tent strains, the best I have found from any breeder is JOTI's blackberry mouth and close second is JOTI's God's space needle- check page 16 of this thread for pics of those Hope that helps

You can definitely see a similar genetic trait in these god crosses here is my runt gods space needle looks very close to your second plant

The finished buds look and smell like the space needle too.
SN: buds were larger/bigger producer but spongy.
MAC: buds are denser and more coated( I'll attach a close up).
You can't go wrong with JOTI genetics!

God's Strawberry Cough day 31 from flip.

Got them from a friend who wanted to make room for autos and they were small so I revegged, hence the many tops. It looks and smells great and it got me wondering. So I snipped a less prime, but decent nug from the side of each plant, stuck it in a paper bag infront of a fan for 5-6 days and gave her a try. It might be the best weed I've ever smoked, preposterous. I can't imagine what it will be like when it's finished.

I've done some JOI back when I first bought seeds online. Done Purps,God Bud,Skunkberry,Blue Diesel,BlbrryCough,GodsAK47,and Bluegod. Best was Bluegod but it has changed over the years. Had a dynamite pheno of Purps but being outdoor guy genetics die every year. GodAK was also decent 1st couple of yrs. But lately not impressed phenos all over the place. Have'nt tried any of the new crazy crosses he has F1 probably 20 phenos.ccguns

Blueberry Muffin is about half way through flower and frosting up. Smells nice enough, but not like BBM at this point. I'll see about getting a photo or two once the lights come on.

Don.t know what happened to Jordan's. Used to be good value 10regs/50$. Now nobody seems to be restocking his shit anymore. Isaw the new crosses on his Canadien site. He should have worked and refined his existing line more rather than put out a bunch of new F1 crosses when phenos of his own line were going all over the place.ccguns

Hemp Depot started selling some of JOTI's stuff last year. Just from watching the page updates, it looks like it's moving. Nice thing about HD is you can get JOTI seeds without having to deal with JOTI's "service".

First pic Black funk dawg day 51. Blackberry kush pheno.

Second pic Black funk dawg, Blue widow and 2 x Northern Blue Hash phenos.

Third pic Black funk dawg.

I love the haters of JOTI's gear please keep trolling....I'm tired of everyone buying it up and it being sold out.

I'm certainly not a hater of JOTI it has sentimental value as it was one of the 1st online breeders that i copped and there are good phenos to be found in some of his strains. In 2010 his Blue God was pretty dank, last year I ran some and it hardly had any odor def. not the BlueGod I remembered. Had a GodAK47 flower in late june once also not to mention Skunkberry one plant3.5ft. and another 7ft it just seems like potluck with phenos. I would'nt trash JOI but I think the market has kind of passed JOI up.ccguns
