Maybe my math is wrong. 13 seeds in a pack, 9 males and 4 females.
I'm not the only one having the same issues with anything from his latest restock. We aren't all running the same strains either. So several of his strains from this last restock, are coming out mostly male.
I cracked some blue city diesel, original edition. We will see how many of those are male.

Feminized seeds are genetically manipulated. Regular seeds are luck of the draw.
You could be unlucky for 5, 10 more of your small time grows, it doesn’t matter. Your sampling bias has nothing to do with the quality of his seeds.
like I said, I agree his quality isn’t what it used to be, but his male and female ratio has no correlation.

Whether the plant is male or female is determined before the seed even sprouts.

Yeah, but that doesn't guarantee you a perfectly mixed package of 5 males and 5 females seeds.

Sounds like you ordered a pack of regs and got a pack of regs. Luck of the draw. You breed a male and female, get whatever, a few hundred seeds and toss 15 in a package to each customer. Going to be luck of the draw there is no way to know any different. Maybe you should stick to feminized seeds
I think I posted around the time of the restock but that restock is just too big IMO. Now I could be wrong but to me it just seems like too many different strains to suddenly restock unless you have a pretty massive operation going on. Not if you're trying to do proper quality control and genetic stabilization.

Lots of fools like you willing to pay massive mark ups for seeds that took no effort to make and no quality control or testing went into.

I don’t think you get it. You can’t call seeds shit cuz they’re male. The sample size even of the quality is smallish, but I’d tend to agree it’s leaning in the wrong direction for JOTI atm.

I'm working off seeds that I've ordered before any of this sort of discussion really started. I also have stuff from other breeders going on now.
There certianly are valid complaint that can be made about genetics. Just pointing out that male to female ratio is not one of those issues.

I agree, very stupid to pop 36 seeds and get 80% males.
Small population though... only cost real money. All while the other breeders I'm popping, including land races, are all closer to 50% males.

18 days into flower - it's slow to really start showing pistils, and they're those little short ones at that.
