Made some good progress with Bluey today. This morning it dawned on me why not drive him to the bus stop with the kid. So I did. And he made it both ways without puking. Was only like a 90 sec drive. But still practice and progress. And then now we just got back from the park and he made it both ways without puking. That's only bout a 6 minute drive. But still. The way home looked like it was going to be close but we made it LOL.

Now another obstacle I'm starting to face is how much exercise and just how much of a machine and working dog he is. Before we went to the park I took someone's advice from here and played Fetch with him for 20 minutes. And then we just hiked for an hour and a half. And as soon as we got home he wanted to play fetch again. I read on the internet you need to watch out about setting too high a benchmark for these dogs because they can pretty much take whatever you throw at them and then will expect and want that every time.

He's so dang cute.
Congrats, it looks like you have a best friend for life.
He certainly loves me lol. They call them shadow or velcro dogs too. And I can see why. Even when I leave the room he just sits and waits at the baby gate for me to return. A little endearing if not annoying trying to use the bathroom and he's like wait let me assess the threat factor in here first.

Bluey has the makings of an all time great .
Yeah I start those puppy classes next Thursday. Hoping they teach me a few more things to add to the arsenal to make him an all around great dog. So far he's been pretty highly and easily trainable. But the problem is there's so many different trainers and schools of thought on YouTube it's hard to know what is the correct way and so on. Especially when a lot of them are just general training and not breed specific. Which is a pretty big deal. Especially with this guy. Because for all that he is and as great as he can be, I still have not been able to get him to stop mouthing my hands. I'm hoping he's just teething really hard and that subsides once his last couple teeth are out. So I'm hoping this trainer will have some tips.
