Just Getting Started

Yes, I have received 2 packages from them now, each was like a padded envelope- 5x7 maybe?. Both wound up in my mail box.
pm that stuff please.

and also im not so sure if switching back to 18/6 after 5 weeks of 12/12 is gonna help you. your babies already started producing the hormone that tells them to flower and hurry up and make seeds before you die... maybe just try those replacements...

The girls at loving the light. I didn't switch back to 18/6, because I started at 12/12, this was their first light switch and they seem to growing rapidly.
The first white hairs/ pistols popped today on the 2 NYC diesel autos, even though they are only about 4 inches tall. (These were the 2 my 3yr uprooted a few weeks ago).
other than size they look healthy to me. Am thinking of trying colloidal silver on one of them just to mess around and see if I can get one to pollinate.
here are the 2 NYC diesel autos

And the critical auto- about 12 inches tall

lookin good im jealous lol;/ bet that old fridge is starting to smell alright hu, and tha criticals top cola looks alot fuller then tha last time i saw it

Thanks Nube! Yea things are starting to stink, I moved the plants out of the fridge a few weeks ago, stuck them in an unfinished shower. Mainly because I was losing the space, but also so I could get them under my 4 ft grow lights. I'm going to have to relocate them again soon due to smell. I had no idea how powerful an aroma 5 plants could give off.
Luckily (sort of), I lost a fight with an actual skunk in my garage last week, it stunk up the place pretty good, masking everything else. But now I am able to tell the difference in smell again between real
skunk and the plants.

I repotted a week ago today and already have roots coming out of the bottoms of the 3 larger plants. I'm going to re pot again next week.

That Crit Auto is filling out, I counted 15 different budding areas! That seems like a lot to me. It's fascinating watching it grow. I must visit these girls at least half a dozen times a day....

I'm going on 7 weeks now since seeds hit the soil...
Re potted the girls today into 6 gallon pots.
also shifted around my set up a little as they no longer fit my current space now. I moved the 2 NYC autos to a different location but they are on the same light set up as before.... I'm a bit worried about the cooler temps, mid to high 60s when the lights are out. But they also now have access to big window space, the sun and lights are keeping things toasty for the most part. I may need to bring back the heat lamps though....
will keep an eye on them.

I'm also relying a bit on the Luck of the Irish today....
I took cuttings from both the Brainstorm and the California Hash Plant in an attempt at cloning. Both are photoperiod plants. I cut the 2 lowest branches from each, snipped the lowest leaves from them, dipped in root hormone and got them into potting mix. Now covered, on 20/4 (2700 lumen x3, 6500K) with a heat lamp. Would be psyched if this works!

hell yeah ;) they all look so healthy too, and good luck with those clones i dont see why they wouldnt pull through but keep it up lol!

Thanks! LOL.
so I goofed again... This has all been such a learning experience , but I'm having a great time so what the hell...

i bagged the clones today (in cheap fish store type clear bags), blew some air in them and wrapped the pot with a rubberband to hold the air. A suggestion from my wife the gardener. Then took them OUT of the 20/4 lights and placed them in a not so bright place so they could focus on root development. They were looking really droopy yesterday but perked right up again after this modification. I feeling hopeful about them again

I also tried my hand at concocting a collodial silver mix. I wasnt too successful. I tried following this post by CaretakerDad:

https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/773401-90-minute-colloidal-silver-production.html

I spent all day and coulnt get my PPM count above 2, so frustrating before i realized my batteries werent any good, Duh!. Tried again today with fresh batteries and could only get a 25PPM count. I dont know what Im doing wrong, my jar has a lot of visible silver in it, one wire is visibly deteriorated, I even cleaned them at one point. When i filtered i was surprised to see so much silver yet my readings are so low. Maybe my tester sucks, its brand new or more likely its operator error somewhere in this process. I lost patience in trouble shooting So Im going with this weak solution to see if i can get it to force one of my NYC Deisels to produce pollen. Im spraying the lower two branches of one plant. I expect it will take a month or so... ill keep updating here.

thats some weird shit lol i wonder who found out that spraying silver particles on a plant can get it to produce pollen ... and a while back a buddy of mine was growing a bag seed and we tried taking a clone to flower and see if it was a girl but it died after like two days ;// so they look good 2 me

now that looks tasty lol, she thickened right up for ya hu?? starting to look a little frosty too , bet your excited cant wait to those pistils start turning orange:mrgreen:

The 4 Clones are 1 week old today... They seem to be surviving, looking a bit wilted. I watered them with a 20-20-20 solution last night, first bit of watering they have gotten since being snipped and planted...

skunk !! lol whats goin on with the other girlies :/? haven't seen them in a while the criticals getting all tha attention, im stoked about mine starting to flower i check on that thing like 4 times a day , who does that ??

Hey Nube!
More photos below.... The girls are 8 weeks old now. The NYC Diesels (auto) have really started to grow, maybe because I have them in a cooler location? I dunno, but check 'em out. The taller one (first pic) is about 24" tall, the smaller is closer to 18" and is the one that's getting the colloidal silver on the lower buds. It's also the one with a little burn on the leaf, at least I think it's burn.

image.jpgimage.jpg

Here are the others...
1st pick is if the California hash plant (on left) about 12" tall and Brainstorm (on right) about 18" tall.
second pic is of the Crit Auto, about 18" tall.
Again all are now 8 weeks old. I just cut back the light from 20/4 to 18/6. Not sure if it matters for that Crit Auto but I will move her to be with the 2 NYC Diesels this week and switch the autos down to 12/12.
