I use the same thing, just Grow Big for hydro and Big Bloom along with Humboldt's Ginormous 0-18-16 with the Big Bloom during flower. I dont have cal/mag issues cuz I use tap water. My water is on average PH7.2 @105 ppm out the tap.

Also, if you use tap water, save your $ on the cal/mag. Really only need it if you use RO & distilled water.

man that explains a lot thoought i was fighting chlorine so i switched to distilled water a few weeks ago ,,, my tap ppm is 250... i was probley locking out mag and who knew what else by adding cal mag .

Tap water has plenty of cal/mag in it. Surely it has plenty if your water is 250+ppm out the tap. I'd keep using tap water and stop the cal/mag. Also, whatever strength your FF nutes are saying, you need to subtract your tap tds/ppm from that number when you add your nutes. Keep your water ph'd and proper nute ppm and it should be smooth sailing. She'll let you know if she wants something.

Sorry man, I forget not everyone runs hydroponics lol. You will need to test runoff to know what your soils ph is at. I have a main reservoir for storing my premixed solution so chlorine isnt an issue for me. I use that main res to fill all of my individual buckets which hold their own reservoirs.

Theres lots of debate about that. If your growing in soil and your water doesnt have some kind of wild swing to it then no IMO its nothing but a waste of time.
Now, not everybody feels that way. Some believe that mother nature walks around with a PH pen in her back pocket.
I use city tap water and unless I use heavy doses of silica or something like that, the PH always is coming in between 6 and 7 of some sort, and that will run fine in soil.
In other words, fuck 'em PH meters, it takes the fun out of it.
