Here are a few tips to get you going.

As others have said you need more light. Pick up a Cheap 48"x4 t-5 setup. This will get you thru veg until you start blooming the plant.

Using a smaller size pot on the initial planting helps some of the newer growers. You have to dump way to much water into a big pot to soak the media. You don't want to much water sitting in that pot or growth will slow. Big pots hold more water taking longer to dry. Your roots need air. Start with a 6" pot and transfer to a 10" after 1-2 weeks.

A good trick is to water your plant thru on the initial watering. Wait 3-4 days for the soil to dry out and water again. I don't mean bone dry but the pot should feel a little light. This will cause your roots to shoot out looking for water. You will want to check for tap roots shooting from the bottom of the pot. This is your indication to increase watering frequency/times.

Proper Air circulation is a must when growing indoors. You need to get a fan in there right away.

Good Luck

Even if it's a basement?

Yes dude even if it's a basement!! Like cap master said growing in a basement the plant needs more air circulation than growing anywhere else. Basements get really damp which will cause mold and fungi!! You also need more lights alot more!! Use both spectrums 5000k and 2700k. It's good for her!! A little bit of advice. Stop asking the same damn questions and listen to what people on here are trying to tell you!! You came looking for advice and these guys are giving it to you. I'm sure most of them if not all know more than you do or else you wouldn't be here in the first place!!

By the way what is the temp and humidity in your basement??

being a basement I would assume cold and damp high humidity its cold months and no fans :wall: I agree he needs to listen I'm no pro but I know more than the basics. still learning myself. if he doesn't change this hell never get the nug:weed:

Hey buddy

In the (basement) try make sure the temperatures are nice and warm around 29c when lights are on and 20c when lights are off.. That will help the plants root growth and overall growth.

And you need a fan to circulate the air around the plant although in a basement the air is for strengthening the stems and gives the plant strong structure and the root to be stronger and able to hold the plant ,

tho if the wind is too strong and not oscillating left to right you could stress the plant out.

And the watering try and make sure the plants soil is completely dry before watering again, especially first two weeks after transplant if you water every two days make it every three...

as mentioned above it helps the roots grow and the plant absorb what ever nutrient there is in the soil.

But temperature is very important and more lighting, for one plant 250 watt hps for flowering would be good and you will get something worth your time back

and use the 150 watt cfl that you have ordered along with what you have now to vegg and that will give you good warmth and pritty good light will give you good and optimum growth.

Maintaining temperatures to ambient temps and having good lighting is important.

Hope this helps and your transplant work is pritty good and the plant looks neat and healthy:clap:

Listen and write down some of the advice or keep it in mind And I recon you will have a good results :bigjoint:...

Good luck buddy and welcome to roll it up

Spray the soil bits off the leafs and if the pot is a clay pot please avoid it next time it will cause allot of issues

Exactly what I was thinking too. He also said his basement had a good draft coming through it so I automatically assumed it was a little cold in there. Like you said it's winter so that's a definite possibility of gettin mold. Yeah I hear you. He needs to add alot more lights, a fan, to name a few and other things if he wants to yield her to her full potential. From the picture his light doesn't look to be a 6700 lumen bulb, I'm no expert so I may be wrong but either way he needs more. I'm just tired of seeing people ask for help and then question everyone's advice afterwards. All you can do is give them some tips and they can take it and produce a big yield or they don't take the advice and not get shit from their plant. I'm no expert either. I know enough but I'm always looking to learn more. Happy growing bro. :leaf::leaf:
