Hey everyone day 12 here. I know the posts have been frequent but I like to keep everyone updated on the new happenings. So far the growth has been excellent for just 12 days. I have one possible problem though. I believe I might have "toxic salt" build up and it seems to affect the Green Cush more then the Grandaddy. However I don't use any salts, except for Earth juice natural PH up witch consists of potassium bicarbonate(certified for organic crop production) I have heard that with organics its unnecessary to PH adjust but having a 4.0 ph tea is a little scary to me so I had to bump it up to 6. Should I just not worry about the low ph and give it to them without the ph adjust? In any case here are some pictures of the standing leaf fringes. I have heard that these symptoms occur when the leaf is trying to get rid of excess moisture but is unable to because of either, salt build up, or heat stress. I know I don't have heat stress because my temps don't get above 76 so I really think its build up of this Natural PH UP. I think I am just going to run straight water through them in order to hopefully flush out the excess salts. good idea?
