This is my 2nd grow. My first just completed in June and was a hydroponic grow of some auto-flowering varieties from Delicious Seeds (La Diva and La Musa) - went great. Have a new place to set up a permanent grow room, but is just getting started. While the autos were doing their thing, I also grew two mother plants from seed:
(1) Reserva Privada Kandy Kush
(1) Dutch Passion Blueberry
After taking some clones off of them in a hurry while getting ready to move, they got mixed up (doh!) so I have no idea which clones are which. I came up with a lame ass way to keep them separated that failed on me rather than just doing the simple thing and writing on the rockwool wrappers. Lesson learned. I hope that people will be able to help me identify them. I did have to pull a few that were not rooting at all - but the other did pretty well.
Here is how they looked while rooting before being transplanted into pots:
I transplanted them today into pots with Roots Organics Original Potting Soil. Here is what they look like.:
Things are a little crammed in my tiny little tent that was the only thing I could fit in the last place. Plans are to put a 4x8x7' tent in here to flower in and use the smaller tent to clone, veg seedlings and care for mothers. As far as lighting, here is what I am currently using:
(1) 90w LED with 2-watt chips
(1) 135w Blackstar LED with 3-watt chips
(2) CFLs
I also have a fan keeping the air moving and a gnarly exhaust fan and carbon filter that will be moved to the larget tent once I acquire it and set it up. In the mean time here is my plan:
- Feed using Roots Organics nutrients
- Veg for another 2 weeks or so and then flip to 12/12
- Flower for 8-10 weeks based on the plants and their progress
I have a few I need to pot - but they are rooting slowly so it should be okay. I will pot the seedlings when they get a little more of a root system going.
I would appreciate any feedback or help. I am new at this. Have ready a bunch and scoured the online forums to gain as much knowledge, but putting it into practice is entirely a different thing altogether, so please feel free to offer up any help or constructive criticism.
And it would be awesome if anyone can identify the BB from the KK. I have pics from the inet of more mature plants and they seem to look a little different so I am hoping they will differentiate themselves later..
Peace.
