I haven't stopped LSTing yet and you see how far along I am. My girls don't seem bothered by it at all. They take everything I give 'em and keep coming back for more. After seeing how well they took the LSTing I started "breaking" some of the branches at 90 degree angles to see what would happen and within 24 hours the tops had turned back up, the break was healing over, and they didn't slow down growing at all. The HUGE benefit of this is that the branch is permanently "bent over/pulled down" to make new tops out of all the buds that were below the top on that branch and there is no putting screws in ur bucket and tying stuff down required to produce the same result.
There kind of a pain at first but once you get some confidence in them rooting you will be golden
