lol really ? i used teh extract as a sublingual and had absolutlely no problem

but again extracts are no where near as strong as the whole roots like ive said all along and ndanjer said

your best off trying a whole root/powdered root seep first
Yea, I've used the extract as both a sublingual and I've just swallowed it. The dosage on the container said to take one pea-sized portion. I wound up doing a sublingual portion the size of 6 peas, with no effect.

I actually did have some root powder at the time, but I couldn't bare the taste. This was a few years back and I've come to be a lot more resistant to bitter tasting things since then. I drink coffee straight black now and find it good, where as a few years ago I found black coffee tasting like absolute shit. I'll give the powder a go again.

Mine. Has no mention of Kava extract percentage. Its the whole root but just crushed into powder. The consistency of my batch is chalky lime green. Does your pouch of Kava have any labeling that indicates brand (edition).
I picked it up from KT about a year or so ago. Just has the generic label they print themselves and put on all their products. I remember the texture was pretty gross I think I just mixed it with water and drank it powder and all, but the taste wasn't all that bad. Sort of perfumey.

Most people believe the extracts will blow there mind out of a cannon, when in all due respects will not happen. The extract is a simple, fast and effective way without resorting to straining Kava root. The extract at most is a very good catalyst to potentiate other drugs. Alone the extract works great a therapeutic tool to relieve residual anxiety as it works great as a calming agent. The effects won't be as noticeable at first but the more you use the extract the more prominent effects will be (referred to as reverse tolerance). The whole Kava root is where the bread and butter is at! :D
