Yeah if your looking for REALLY fast flowering this is the absolute best strain, 50 days flowering give or take. I was getting really high off week 6 samples. It's just insane how sativa dom it is with such quick flowering. Those leaves are almost straight up haze. imo, one of the top 10 strains ever created.

Poboy, I have been giving it once per week since the start of flower, but since i have seen how well it reacts to it i am going to try every other feeding, or about 2 times a week.

Ok had to update today dudes, I see a big change in her from yesterday. She appears to be the same height as yesterday and she has greened up immensely. Bud production is in full flow and starting to look mighty fine. This is turning into my best grow to date.

Just a reminder, this plant is not getting bloom food or high P. In fact the NPK ratio it's getting from this chilli food is 3:1:4.4 . The stuff is called chilli focus from growth technology. Price - 10 dollars a liter

Mate, she is looking freakin awesome! Im so going to hit one of these up next in my hydro i reckon, she could do great things in my tent how do you reckon she'd go with topping and scrogging??

She's looking good! Nice and healthy!
Chili's like a bit more K than pot but are otherwise very similar. Just do a periodic flush and feed to leech excess salts out of the medium.
You should give her a run Mo. Scrogging should help with her stretching.

Your girl looks great. I have 2 C99's going. i decided to try dirt this time instead of DWC.. been a headache ever since I threw them into flower. So my judgement in conclusion of my current grow is that i'm better off in DWC.. imagine that. I thought growing in dirt was suppose to be easy.. lmao next go around i'm heading back to DWC. keep up the great work.. i'm subbed.

Once you have hydro down it is so much easier than dirt IME. Even when it gives you troubles you get all the clues you need to figure the problem out in hours. Fuck looking at a sick plant and not being able to tell what the cause it until it gets sicker.

Cheers man. I can't comment on the scrogg, but she always takes the topping like a champ. Pup her full of mag during flower and shell be good

Hey adam, good to see you still about too. You doing cindy again aswell lol.. once you try cindy your hooked, no going back from such a fast flowering hard hitting satty..

Growing in dirt is by no means easy.. if things go wrong its hard to know what to do.. flushing could worsen it, or it could make it better. I seem to have found success this go by vegging with no nutes since there was some in there to start with, then using epsom and biobizz grow for week 1 until it started to show deficiencies, then since the root system was fully developed blasting it with full strength chilli food, and epsom every other watering. Always scared of burning them.. but she seems to be a real nute whore.. But yeh go with what you know man, I'm shit at techical stuff ,i probably couldn't build a hydro set up to save my life lol

I'm not a fan of dirt at all. Too much that can go wrong. If you don't want to build a hydro setup you can do a soilless grow or a passive hydro system like a hempy. I'm seeing several people rock it with grow stones right now. I love the way you can monitor your plants in a hydro system. There's nothing worse than watching a plant have a problem in dirt and not being sure what the cause is and having to wait for it to get worse to figure out the cause.

I've never grown C99 but I can't imagine not topping a plant at least once. I top and train for wide short plants that grow sideways as much as up (more than up if I do it right!).

Ah ok cool. Im the same as you, I don't think I've ever grown a plant that I haven't topped. I prefer my girls to be bushier rather than taller

OK Now I'm at day 28. 4 weeks flowering already, just flying in and over the half way mark

Things are going quite well, they were going very smoothly until yesterday when I noticed a few tips starting to burn.. since you mentioned salt build up duck thats what i figured i was getting since it has handled the nutes i have been giving it thus far. So, I decided on giving her a drink of just water, rather than flush/ feeding .. It's pretty hard to move her now shes all tucked up i that closet.. so flushing would be a real pain..

Today her leaves look like the burning has stopped ,so i think i was right on that call, alas.. I got some yellowing down the bottom as a result... It's really hard to keep this girl happy!

Shes looking really sweet though, smells pretty strong. Good thing I only have about 3 weeks left as I'm getting nagged about the smell lol

She's looking good! I'm not seeing any other signs of over fert so I'm wondering if it's actually burn. If your water is chlorinated it will do that. You can mix a little bit of vitamin C in and it will neutralize it.
Flushing large plants is a pain in the ass. I'd try to do it anyway if I were you because then you know you'll be good for the home stretch. Run three times the volume of the pot of pH'd water through and then do a normal feeding.

Hmm after reading your post again, it's got me thinking about the smell....is she really strong? Havent you had one before that didnt smell at all?

thats correct mo, wish i had kept that pheno.. no smell until chop ,then straight pineapple.

Don't get me wrong though, i dont even use a carbon filter... and it's only smelling in the room it's in, or the hallway too if i am messing with her.. shes has a smell to her but still very low key..

This ones buds have a really tropical fruit/ musky haze vibe going on, loving it.

She got a good trim tonight. Getting a bit worried about the RH of my closet ,so i removed all the most pathetic popcorn and fading inner and lower leaves that were on their way out anyway.. help the air circulate a bit better in there and help get more food to the tops

Had my first major issue today, checked her and she was sweating quite a lot and on one particular leaf was so saturated that one of it's fingers was completely limp and still is several hours later.. i think it will die on me. I think I left it a little to long between waterings and the plant could'nt cool itself down properly perhaps?

Here she is after her cut and day 30 bud. I got rid of quite a lot of foliage.. she looks pretty tidy now, and everything i removed had like a few straggly hairs and no bud at all.. good to get rid of it..give the tops more nutes..

i kept some of the better popcorn branches.. some of them were trying so hard to get out towards the light and actually buled up a bt it would be a shame to kill them..

Just got through a visit fromm my parents i have been dreading for about 2 weeks. Got the light switched off, fan switched off, plant hidden air fresheners, cleaned everywhere. Went without a hitch, they didn't even go upstairs. My dad even came in and said something smells nice.. lol.. I'm sure he was referring to cleaning products..

Anyway since the light was off I took a few pics.. got some bud porn and ,starting to see how the colas are forming.. looking like they are gonna be pretty fat..
