The generator are Hondas, hooked up to a 250 gallon propane tank. Its twice the price of electricity, not cheaper. 
On regular electric the bill wouldnt be more than $250.

Looken good Im running 48 bucket 2 systems ebb and flo and have become quite fond of them though I have eliminated ALL rockwool and hydroton What are the steps u take to FULLY cleanse your setup. How often ? Etc.

Clean the pumps every time I harvest and wipe down buckets each time. The Hydroton gets washed in a bathtub all at once. Easy stuff. What did you do to eliminate hydroton and rockwool? If your using the STG stuff, shoot yourself now.

Uuuugh shot myself lol Now why would I do that with gorgeouse results like I get I LOVE STG and the system we have is cream for that product. Bottom feed is the way to go. Top feed is no no. Buuuuuuut if u never took a look into my grows shame on u for talking bad on STG 
Naw for real though I gave it a try and worked through some kinks and bam I must say my crops are cool and my messes are even cooler.

Could you be more specific please? What model of generator are you using, etc...? I'd like to run 6000W off the grid so I'd really appreciate the information. Thanks!

My boyfriend (the one who does the glass) and I went to a kickass night club the other night. Mushroooooooooooooooms. Excellent time. I love the wider music you hear on shrooms and the lights are always forever trippy.
My harvest-watcher friend who stayed the two days there managed to pluck 3 ounces of dry shrooms himself, and then I plucked another 4-6 ounces (estimated) and tossed them in the dehydrator just now too.
Also harvested about 6 Lbs of trees, which is why pictures took a little longer this time. 36 plants chopped in one day!
Here's some pics:
This picture is of a plant named White Widow. Dont mind the pretty little human behind it............. (me!) The t-shirt is a Jack with Pot leafs smoking, it came from Attitude with seeds.
In my signature is a link to a Mushroom grow of a massive size. Why not come by and take a peek? That's where most of the updates are these days............

Sure, Honda EU3000IS. Take two of them and daisy chain them together with the Honda parallel operation kit and you can run it into a panel that will run 6000w of lights.

So are you running 240v ballasts or 120vs? Also, what type of panel are the generators connected to?
I have everything else squared away, this is just the last little bit I'm researching.

120v ballasts. Honda makes a panel that has 20amp 120v fuses right on it that plugs into the parallel connector box. Any honda salesman can walk you through it or just look at the generator accessories online it makes much sense. Good luck!
btw -- I did 120v since 240v shocks can kill me. 120v just stings a while. There's zero difference.

To my knowledge 240 is much less resistive to your equipment and runs cooler ? I have 240 and 120. I use 240 for the flower room.

It uses the same amount of power. It's half the amps because its twice the voltage. That means more spark in you by double. But, remember, 120v or 240v means the same electric bill. Neither is a cost saver in any fashion. Its flavor.

I concur on the I had my homie hook up my 1000s less amps less wear more light on each breaker. Originally I was poping stuff and this route is more efficient so I said that's kosher
