kod42 Second Grow, First Grow Journal!

As the title says, this is my second grow but my first journal. My First grow I ran an unknown strain bc my mom couldn’t remember lol. Then I had 2 cereal milk bag seed from my buddy. Unknown strain was pretty much half a pound by itself. The 2 cereal milk plant were around 1oz then another was 1.5 in total I have half a pound and 1 ounce. This grow I’m going to be running some Greenpoint gear and what I was told to be Lumpy’s apple fritter.

So what I have….
~ 3 Holy Smoke
~ 2 Ice Cream Punch
~ 1 Lumpy’s Apple fritter my second seed died I only had 3 of them should have ran all 3.
~ Ace Hardware Organic Top Soil
~ Miracle Grow Moisture control potting mix
~ Miracle Grow perlite
~ 3 Amazon grow lights they work well so might as well keep using them until I save some money up
~ SolHydro 3x3x6 Tent
~ I think .5 gallon pots to start ‘‘em in
~ Ipower 6 inch extraction fan
~ Ph Perfect trio but I might switch to GH Flora series


I also know alot of people do not like Miracle grow stuff but I don’t use too much of it and I just found out that the perlite has nutrients for some reason so I will have to wash it off before I transplant next time.

I use miricle grow as a base and add stuff (perlite, bone meal, ect). It's really about what's available and cost effective. I've used a bunch of different brands and the only one I had serious problems was with sam's choice potting soil. I lost a shit ton of awesome ghani seeds due to that shit. When I ph tested it the stuff was alkaline off the chart. I use miracle grow bloom booster at about 1/4 to 1/2 strength and add a little general hydro bloom and micro to bump up my P and K. You babies are looking good. welcome to the wonderful world of dope growing! Enjoy!!!

Yeah it works amazing for me I haven’t had any problems with miracle grow stuff yet. But a lot of ppl don’t like it. And yeah that sucks I’ve never used that stuff before but some told me there sams choice potting soil has killed seedlings before too so I wonder what’s in it

Good luck with your first journal! Lots of people have used the Miracle Grow stuff, it's a fine place to start. Be sure to read the Miracle Grow threads here that touch on any products you use, because as you mentioned, it can run hot.

Today I popped my last Apple fritter seed. One of my Holy smokes that popped the 3rd pic up top, the runt she didn’t move from that position and turned brown. I might have over watered her. But at least I can maybe get 2 pheno’s of the Apple fritter it was my moms last seeds but she is growing the last cuts of it atm that she had but will take more

all the girls are doing awesome after one week yesterday. I had the lights too high so they stretched a tiny bit. I also planted my last Apple fritter seed and she popped up within a few days she has been up for 2 days now.

Have not updated my thread for awhile… but today is day 33 I think lol. I just watered them with plain water today. And last week I repotted them to 2gal vivosun fabric grow bags, just to have them all fit it my 3x6. I ran out of organic top soil so now I’m just fully using miracle grow moisture control. I know people don’t like them but all I had so might as well.

Haven’t updated my journal for a bit! But we are just a little over a week into transition all the plant look great I have one of my holy smokes who grows over a few inches a day having a hard time training her lol my next grow I’m definitely gonna get a net make it more even. My back right plant has look a little wilted since it and out the dirt it’s one of the ice cream punches she smells good so we will see how she flowers she don’t look happy but that’s as happy as she gets lol

I know I could probably use some defoliation but I already did some up too for the bud sites to get light I don’t wanna slow it down by doing a huge defol underneath I will probably do that around day 21 or when first pompoms show up
