Late grow advice

I wasn't going to grow this year but got bored so I threw some seeds in the dirt in October. Plants are 45 inches tall now and just starting to bloom. They have some greenhouse protection from the weather. We have gotten a few freezes but for the most part 60 to 70 degree days. Am I crazy for trying to finish these off? SS seeds grown in nothing special dirt with natural nutes.

No, you're definitely not crazy to finish them. You'd be crazy not to!

If temps are too cold at night, bring the plants in and stuff them into a dark closet, then take them back to the greenhouse when the sun comes up. Simply ensure they get 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness.

If the temperature gets too cold in the daytime, bring them inside and give them as much light as you possibly can, until it gets dark outside, then put them into the dark closet.

The days are getting longer now. They might go wonky and start re-vegging but I guess there's no harm in letting them go to see what they'll do.

Edited to add to Spek9s advice. It didnt occur to me that you could bring them in. That's a good idea too, but if they're too big to move, could you provide some kind of light dep. to the greenhouse so the dark cycle remains uninterrupted?

They are pretty big to bring in but I can tent them to keep it dark. They def get 12 hours of darkness minus a small heat lamp to keep frost at bay on freezing nights.

They are about a meter in diameter and take up a lot of space. I know I'm a newbie and I don't have anything fancy but I have a green thumb and can grow monster plants.
