Leaf Discoloration

Im hoping someone can help me diagnose the spots and discoloration on the leaves of my indica plants. In the pics below ive shown the orginal set of leaves that were mainly affected and also the discoloration on the new growth.
I believe the intial spotting on the first set of leaves was from me having the 600w HIDs on them as new seedlings. I think it was too much too soon. The have recovered and are growing well now. My temps have stayed in the 72-75 degree range with the humidty staying between 30-40%.
My concern is the discoloration on the new growth

I don't see what's wrong? They look fine. Read more, and google "Yellow spots on cannabis leaves". There's your answer. In future for any other little problem that occurs, don't go straight to the forums, use google first.

I'll help you out anyway, for the sake of your post. It looks nitrogen deficient. Start introducing nutrients if you haven't already. Or it could just simply be a pH problem. Do you use a pH meter when watering?

I've definitely done my google research. From what I found on therei believe I had a heat stress problem. I was watering my leaves while under the lights which may have burned them. Ive corrected all that.
I just introduced grow big on their last feeding. At 30% strength. My ph has been between 6.4 and 6.8.
My concern is the discoloration. Maybe im overreacting as this is my 1st grow.

Now, what is the soil you have her in? Have you feed her at all, if so what and how much? What is your ph?

We were writing our replies simultaneously...ph is good, grow big amount is good depending on the soil she is in. How big of a pot is she in and how long has she been there?

Possibly could've burned it, but I'd go with what @$bkbbudz$ said. Probably just a calcium problem. Pick up a bottle of Cal-Mag, any brand will do. I use Plant-Magic. Works like a charm. There's a multitude of issues relating to yellowing leaves, so its hard to pinpoint the exact problem without me being the one growing said plant. At this stage overall it looks fine, overracting.... maybe just a little. But its fine.

What you need is Cal-Mag. that should fix the problem.

One last thing, you've not said the medium you're using. If you have coco coir use pH 5.8.

The only 'advice' I can give you or anyone is to read and learn and then apply what you have read and learned to your garden and you cannot fail. Anyways, remember the search tool is your friend...Lots of folks here willing to help a new farmer get up and growing. But at the end of the day your grow will be only as good as the knowledge and work you put into it.

It is always great to ask questions but do not take anyone's advice or opinions and follow blindly. Do your own research, you will be much happier knowing you have done it for yourself and by yourself. The first buzz you get from your own budz...is by far the BEST high you will ever have!

I use fox farms ocean forest soil. I just transplanted them from solos to 1 gallon air pots a few days ago. Planning on going up to 3 gal for final pot.

Ok, Yellowing leafs...3 things...FFOF has more than enough nutes for her to go 2- 3 weeks w/o additional feeding after transplant...the same will apply every time you up-pot her. Second...transplant shock. Transplant slows growth and development and in some cases nutrient uptake for a couple of days...not to worry she will catch up...Third and most important...calm down...a bit of over reacting...I understand the excitement of a first and new grow. But remember it WANTS to grow. Continue to research, use the search tool and relax. Nothing has injured and killed more plants than their parents 'loving them to death'.

I agree about google. I hate using it because it tracks everything you search and uses it to market products and basically profile you. Ive even heard they work with the government and that people can be flagged and monitored(not paranoid, havent smoked today lol and not a conspiracy theorist). I just know its creepy to have ads for products ive searched show up on games im playing and on other sites as well. Google is shady.
This site and its members have already helped me more than google.

Im also confused about why experienced growers always seem to say to read forums, do your research, google, etc before you post a question. I devoured all the info i could about growing problems and it was time comsuming and even frustrating at times. it's much more practical to ask a specific question, post a pic, and get the help you need on a site like this as opposed to spending countless hours reading thru forums and such.
My outlook on it is if you dont want to help a new grower, because my question may be elementary or has been asked before, or whatever your reason,simply ignore my post and go about your day.

Well, we "experienced" growers get burnt out being asked the same thing over and over! We tend to reside in more "experienced" and/or advanced forum threads or sections....

The sad part is when some newbie know it all starts telling one of us 40+ years of growing "experienced" guys we're full of shit and need to study Botany more or try to "school" us on how Living organic soil works (when they have the point their trying to make,,,,wrong)....

You see, we've answered this and questions like "week 4 of bloom and why are my plants turning yellow?" (too much P too early) "when should I start the "flush" (flush ????). "how many 125w cfl's do I need to grow a pound" (LMAO=cfl's) The frick'in list goes on and ON!

Then you have the lack of information given questions.......I MUST HAVE information! (Ever seen a show called the "prisoner?")
What,,are we mind readers? I have no idea what you use, how much, etc, etc, etc......Stickies give more answers and instruction on how to ask questions and MOST don't even READ those!

I do understand about looking to find answers by researching them......It takes years to be able to look at a plant simply know what the problem is and how to solve it! BUT, at the least, READ the sticky on "How to post questions" OK?

BTW, with pics......Post 1 of the whole plant, the general area of the problem and one OF the problem......You were close on that!
Listing everything you feed, including supplements/additives is VERY important to fast correct answers! How much and how often is next!
Water - same as the nutrients!
Media - what are you in?
How big is the pot?

You get the point? Read the sticky......"We" can teach a lot, you need to now how to GET "our" attention..

I completely understand all of what your saying, but it goes back to my point. .you dont have to answer my questions or even read the post..if you feel my question has been answered a thousand times thats fine. Mmm, and it's that attitude that keeps SO many EXCELLENT growers from even looking in the newbie and whats wrong with my plant threads......I don't think I'm too good to,,,why do you think I took the time to actually explain?

Let me say this - You asked about new growth coloring - NO pic of it! That would be the very center growth at the top right?

The other, lower single leaf...That's a starter. It will naturally be more susceptible to early problems as the seedling is not yet set in it's actual up take balance yet.....That may NOT be a Ca/Mg problem yet......I would wait until the plant has at least 3 full nodes to make that call (Has it continued? = yes Ca/Mg low, No = No!)

I was just worried it could become a problem and wanted expert advice on what exactly I was dealing with before it got out of hand.

If you notice the words under the name of some people on here where it says "Well-Known Member", that tells you the person has some experience at least of posting things on here. This doesn't always mean they know what they are talking about, and most of them will be a smart ass to you if you don't do your part in making your post with the set guidelines. The thing is, the ones who do know their shit are going to skim over posts like this and either move on to the next one or do exactly what Dr. Who did and ask for all the information that the stickies tell you to put in your posts in the first place.

One thing you'll learn after you've studied this shit for a while is that it takes a lot of patience to learn everything you need to know; and even small things like knowing how to post questions and take the right pictures will only end up benefiting you in the end. The other thing you'll learn is don't get upset if someone says something that you don't like because you may end up responding to a well respected member of the growing community in a way you'll end up regretting later.

This is the "runt" of my plants. It by far has had the most difficult life so far. It was the last to sprout and has looked sickly the entire grow (3 WEEKS). All of the other plants are healthy looking with only a slight discoloration on the fan leaves.
Temps:72-74
Lights: 600w MH 24/0
RH: 30-40%
Medium: fox farms ocean forest, transplanted 6 days ago from solos to 1 gal air pots
