leaves wilting

Since the past watering my leaves have started to wilt a little bit. The plants are only about 2 weeks old and growing in a rubermaid in the attic. I'm pretty sure i'm not over watering since I only water about twice a week. It is starting to get cold in the attic, probably somewhere in the low 60's to mid 50's at night. Last night i shut the box and it was a bit wet in there in the morning when I woke, i'm guessing that didn't help. It is CFL lighting and I thought the heat from them would help. I finally got my fox farm nutes in today and am going to water again tomorrow. I don't know what else to do.

That's not too cold at night, infact plants like it colder at night. Are you waiting for the pots to gt 100% dry before rewatering? Lift up the pot after you water and get a feel for the weight of it compared to one that hasnt been watered yet. If there isnt a significant difference, youre watering too early. If its lighter, amd you poke your finger in atleast an inch down and its dry, and you peek at the holes on the bottom of the pot and they're dry as well, it's time to water.

I am waiting for them to be completely dry before I water. I really don't think it is over watering. I would take a pic and post it but I don't feel safe doing so.

As long as it dosnt get cold enough to literally freeze the water in your leaves your plant will be just fine. I mean how do you know what the plant likes really. did you ask her?
My plant lives in my attic too it gets down in the low 40s every night! and i leave the window open. She is Beautiful!
I wouldnt worry bout getting caught on here. The police would have to know your IP. i dnt think they can get it from a pic. And if they can your already fucked from posting. but no worries man. 100s of pics are posted every day!

Thanks. They really look like plants that are just wilting a bit. I have them there first blast of nutes, I burnt the bottom leaves a little bit but the new growth looks great and strong. I noticed the roots are starting to grow out the bottom holes in the pot. I really don't want to transplant, can this be the cause of the wilting?

I may just have to post a pic and stop being lazy....

first off dont use foxfarms....they suck and its not they right mixture for their age....second if its as cold as you say, that water is also that cold at night, hence the color of the leaf. the roots are just sitting in that not drinking it up, and its not evaporating like it naturally should. and third, get better soil...sunshine number 4 is foolproof.it allows the roots to breath and the water to drain easier.... and nutz should be 20-20-20 at that age

^^^how many grows have you done? It's a bit too late right now to change the soil out and i'm not going to buy any different nutes right now. From my research it seemed like 1:10 people don't like fox farms. I understand no one is going to have a perfect track record.

That soil looks heavy with wood and bark which will hold water and making poor drainage, thats why they look over wartered.
