Led strip build

Yeah it’s 6m x 6m I may run slightly less space but atm its 6m x6m. I was looking at cutter but the price compared to f strips was nuts when I’d need like 550 strips

I’d be very interested in UV strips too
Hoping he just got busy... Really want some Info on these. I think UV is the missing piece to the dankest Indoor ever grown. We just need a small form factor like these strips to be able to do the job. Because 4' long fluoro bulbs are not easy to fit inside a grow tent when your lights already take up nearly all the space.
This is thee main thing I like abut this advancement in UV LEDs. I'm so eager to know if it will be effective... Enough.

Yeah I currently have solacure bulbs but they won’t fit in my footprint of the short sog I’m designing anymore.

I too believe it’s the missing link for dank indoor buds.

The price of the strips on that link you posted from cutter seems insane though

I aim to have 3 flood trays 14ft by 3.8ft each tray will have 176 Samsung f series 56mm single strips.

528 strips in total with 8 HLG-600H-24 drivers.

Can anyone tell me if my driver will still output 600w if the led strips are 23v or so I lose wattage as the voltage is dialled down?

You have 25Amps, your driver will automatically adjust the voltage according to the forward voltage of the strips. If your forward voltage is 23V this will give you a total of 575W to the strips. Measure the forward voltage and multiply by 25 to calculate the wattage your driver is able to output

Those chips, according to @nachooo the viosys UV Diods he got were like $50/pc. And couldn't put out near the power these do. I might be wrong though.
Just saying if 2 of those could cover a 4x8 I'm down.

ill even buy them if I know they give off good amounts of uvb because I just like how it affects the plants even tho it may be overkill I like pushing them to the max so I would love to switch to uv led so much these 4 foot t5s suck but I know they do increase something atleast by a bit overkill yes.
I just want info on these uv strips before I buy them no info on what chips they use or how much uvb/uva is emitted from the strip so I'm waiting. but if it can solidly cover a full 4x4 all covered ill be more than happy to pick up a few for sure, just need info
 
I think it was going to cost me $300 to fill the uv, the dip, and ir. This I can’t remember was either for a 4x4 or an 8x8. Drivers, sinks, diodes, timer etc. The diodes themselves are between $4 and $5 for the soderless, can get up to $12-40 a piece US if you want high wattage ones.
 
So can I use hlg-600h-36b drivers on 23v strips?

The data sheet says “constant current region 18-36v” but doesn’t explain exactly what that means.

If I can use these drivers and have 16.7a per driver at 23v I’d get 384w per driver and I can get Away with using all the drivers I’ve already got.

Which cutter strips were you thinking were expensive?
 
So I have saved myself a fortune. It turns out I can use my 36b drivers I already have.

So I now intend to buy 528 Samsung f series 56mm 3000k strips and use with 12 HLG-600H-36b drivers.

Each driver would put out 384w for a total of 4609w to cover approximately 130sqft of canopy.

Each individual strip would have 8.72w and around 35 per sqft.

My plan is to mount these strips without a heatsink do you think the wattage per strip is low enough to achieve this?

I will have 6000m3 of air being sucked out of my room into a cooling room and recirculated back into the room creating a negative pressure so I’d think that would count as “active” cooling?
