The leaf edges aren't looking good. What happened? Do a flush with ~ 100ppm nutes

Looking back to 8/29, I can see problems. Leafs are round: they should be elongated

Pics from 9/9 look much better, but pics from 9/19 the edge serrations are round (not good)

What's your tap ppms and what is pH of mixed nutes?

I recommend you remove the larger leafs from the undergrowth below the 3rd node from the top. This will allow better air flow

Are you using a circulating fan (you need to) and replace the clear tubing with darker tubing

First, want to thank you for looking things over!

There has been some issues with pH, nutes and lights.

I just invested in a R/O system after trying to be cheap. Big help with pH being more stable now.

ppm of tap was ~275, now it is ~25

Had not been checking ppm of nutes prior to getting r/o water. They are now ~500 on change water day (Sunday), but rising steadily since.

pH had been getting up near 7 overnight, now it only rises a couple points ie 5.8 becomes 6.1 or 6.2

I have a small 6" fan in the tent running 24/7 and a 16" oscilating fan runs when lights are on.

I will try trimming some lower leaves in the morning when I change water and do the flush.

I have black tubing running from the airstones out of the lid and about 6" past, then a coupler for quick disconnect, then the clear hose.

It should start coming around now

Most likely the high ppm tap was causing issues when mixed with nutes

Enjoy your RO for cooking and drinking too. Also, good for cleaning things like mirrors (streak free)

I mix with colloidal silver (have my own generator) and use as a mouth wash, spray counter tops, pillows, bedding, door handles, cell phone, remote controls....

And your scientific reason for waiting is?

Those lower leafs are so far gone, they are a drain on the upper leafs

The sooner you remove them, the better

But hey, it's your grow

Day 21 of flower. Day 34 of 12/12. Day 80 from seed.

My three ladies in flower now:

AK47 - this plant is strong and frosty

Northern Lights - this girl was slow to get started in flowering and still shows little signs of trichome growth

PA130070.jpgPA130071.jpg

White Russian - she is very happy and looks like the buds are filling out already

Three plants in the tent

This is my Pineapple Chunk plant I pulled out of the tent. I did this to make more room for the healthier plants at the time I switched to 12/12. It was weeks behind due to some root issues, but is doing well now. I hope I can keep it healthy until I harvest the others and can move in to the tent.

Got my new LED in the mail today. It pulls a bit more juice than my older LED, even though both are 3Wx80=240watts. 35 days before I leave for vacation. Hope hey finish before I go, or wait until I return. :0
