Horticultural LED lighting is still in its infancy stages of what it can do. Problem is technology advances so fast diodes are constantly being switched/ upgraded before long term testing can actually be done.

Probably why most universities are still messing with blurple because they need long term proven results which can take 3-5 years.

Control of spectrum is too much to put in the hands of most hobbiests. Coming from the saltwater aquarium world the LED craze has been happening for the past 7 years and is still be debated but is mostly accepted as the industry norm. Every day there was a thread about what settings I should use so the 9 channels of independent control and thunderstorms all became useless because everyone wanted a proven set schedule that works.

I think manufacturers should leave spectrum control alone and just allow intensity to be adjusted.

Isn't OLED supposed to be king and the future of where leds are going anyways?

Plants are not a table that can be simply read and followed.
I think t is actually pretty clever that the system can figure out how much light the plants need.
And reaching DLI with duty cycles etc to save power is great.

It would seem from the kid's presentation, that MAYBE you could use this information on all pants that are the same, so you only need to monitor once.
Well, actually you need to do nothing aS THE MACHINE CAN DO IT BETTER THAN YOU.
