4x4 is almost twice as big as 3x3. I think 4x4 would be awesome with three 315s and quite good with two, which is the level you are used to in your tent. To reach that you need to supply additional ~600 umol photons per second and spread the light around... which might be a problem with the shape of mars unit. Looking at their par map the unit alone should be good for a 4x4, but the measurements seem far too good to be true, imo.I would just be flowering in a 4x4 for now. I just need something decent for veg, then plan to combine both lights into the 4x4 with flower. The LEC does real well in a 3x3, just trying to keep it cheap and decent. Not a fan of mars hydro's old fixtures but this line seems like they are headed in the right direction! https://www.mars-hydro.com/led-grow-light/mars-fc-series-led-grow-light/buy-fc-3000-300w-3x3-energy-saving-full-spectrum-commercial-led-grow-light-mars-hydro-for-sale
If diy is ok I would suggest placing the 315 in the middle and strips around it.
