LST= Low Stress Training. Things such as tying weights onto the stem to bend the plant over to make it more compact. We had a plant that we topped then started tying the two top stalks to the side of the pot. It ended up growing to look like a menorah Also, what kind of lights are you using? you said the wattege but if your using CFL/T5s you want the topps of the plants basicly touching the light. If your using hid get a thermometer and hang it at the level of the plants, then get the light as close as you can without getting the temp over about 80-85fwhat do you mean by LSTing?
sorry im new
Dude, lumens have nothing to do with what a plant needs. Lumens are to measure visible light to the human eye. Plants don't care what we can see. I cant remember what its called but there is a scale to measure how well the light can be used for photosyntheses. Thats what you want to measure, Not lumens.get more light on those gals, i suggest supplementing day light, leave those little ladies by a window during the day and move them into your room at night, at least until that stalk thickens up. the day light, even on a cloudy day is gonna be a lot more then 3000 lumens, and did you check that at plant level or right off the lights??????
