If you knew some of the actual people involved in the Libertarian party at the local levels, you might think differently than "Libertarians are Koch bros. minions". Most have never met or spoken to any Koch bros.If you read the article at the beginning of the thread, you’d know this line of thought was already shredded.
I'm not saying there haven't been attempts to water down the message and shift what a Libertarian is, that's a goal of the elites for sure, and it has caused some confusion. Which is why they do it, "they" hate big L, Libertarians and really really hate small l, libertarians.
Political Libertarians themselves are confused. They are the most liberty loving people in a room full of various political types, until a libertarian enters the room. Then they are just a statist and they get all whiney trying to justify the existence of "just a little bit of coercion".
I've never met a Koch brother, but know plenty of Libertarians and plenty of libertarians. I respect them all, but think Libertarians are philosophically inconsistent...just not as bad as other political types....but....still.
