Your plans will thank you more for Wattage :) I just pumped mine up to 10x 42w 2700ks.. still have 2 more 42w to put in, will have about 504watts and 36,000 Lumen s ( getting some real power going now)

thanks for the props jhod
mario you have a link to your grow would like to check it out.
also how big is your grow mine is 4 sq ft with 19,000 lumens so roughly 5000 lumens/sqft.
have another set of lights to hang around the outside when ready.(13,000 lumens)
if temps stay under control will finish with around 40,000 lumens. which will be around 25 23w cfl's:wall:.

i am looking into getting an inda grow pro 100 induction light says it would replace a 200w mh/hps.
problem is they are a bit pricey around $500. anybody have any knowledge on induction lighting.
less heat in a small grow the better.

started lst'ing both plants today.
gonna try to manage canopy as best i can to get best cfl penetration.
after a month of just growing my last plant the inner leaves started dying from lack of light.
i guess the name of the game is to try and produce all we can so i think cfl's almost require some sort of training if you are gonna veg for any amount of time.

sincerely420 you have inspired me to grow my blue widow inside for the smell will probably grow it by itself and try to get a nice yield. will see how this grow goes with 2 plants.

will most likely veg 2 more weeks then switch to 12/12 that would be 1 month from seed breaking ground.

here are some pics of my veggies all grown under cfl and flouros. all started about 6 weeks ago.
have 2 small cherry tomatoes on the ones grown normal the ones that are trained horizontal have 2-3 times more growth no tomatoes yet just blossoms.

Way to work Hits! Gonna grow some regular veggies next run too lol. And yeah bro, that blue widow is completely legit and great to breed with as its f1(seed produced from mother and father plants).

And your right that the name of the game indoor is to train! It's the key to increasing your yield Indoor!

For next time if you would have let that top grow another inch you could have cloned it. Top clones have thicker stems and more energy stored to recover from cloning.

i cut 3 nodes off both plants. to get something big enough to clone it would have been a few more nodes tall and another 2 weeks.
also i didnt want any stretch from my lower growth so i wanted it to get full light and have close nodes.
i agree with you beast but did not want to waste the time.(last plant male and been laid off 3 months so a bit broke = do not want to waste any time at all.)
will be cloning in a week or 3 so i can have somewhere around 5-10 clones to go outside.
this was my plant last grow at 30 days and these are real close to the same size at same age.

Also looks like you might get possible 8 tops depending how it takes to the topping. From the first tied down picture

if you look at the first pic i posted from my last grow.looking down you can see where the big colas will be compared to the smaller budsites even tho they were growing nicely.
not saying you do not get a bunch of nice big buds but the lower you initially top as in first true node or second. you will get main colas not just tops they are 2 totally different things.
if you go to the 3rd or 4th node you get good growth but the auxins will mainly distribute to the top nodes and your first true node will not create the same size bud as the 3rd or 4th node. if done right at first or second node you will get 2 or 4 main colas. this is the same as mainlining. this is what i have done again.

i will get 4 main colas. see the last pic of my first grow it has 3 stems that is the way it grew from seed.
it was topped at second true node or would have had 4 main colas/stems with a bunch of bud sites growing off from the main stems.(but abnormal growth made it only have 3) ended up being male so have nothing to show for except 3 months of reading reading study what i read then read a shit ton more.

Sorry to hear it was a male pal. That's why I stick with buying feminized seeds personally, and to truly know what the strain is. So you only have 1 left then?

no i made a dumb mistake last time. started 5 seeds.
i play disc golf and had an outing and didnt check them before i left to play.
3 dried up completely 1 made it which was male the other had the shell stuck on for 4 days dumb mistake i know new shit dumb ass:wall:
not to blame anyone but got home asked my lady if she checked them and said no. and guess what she was sitting on her ass all day.
in all seriousness tho i blame myself this is my fun and a great way to learn. not just about green but organics, soil, horticulture, botany, electricity, airflow, the list goes on and on.

this lib haze is a complete new grow just threw up picks of my last grow to show how well cfl's work and show my topping and what not.
first grow started feb 1 ended march 5 popped new beans march 5 and here we are up to date.
now i know no lapse in concentration with seedlings even for 12 hours.

today was 3 weeks from popping out of the ground.
watered both today. split a 1.5 gallons between the 2 had about a quarter of a gallon runoff.
retied the one in the black pot down growing very fast can see roots coming out the bottom drain holes.
the blue one is growing a bit slower but still doing very nice.
the third pic show the 4 main stalks.
the 4th pic shows the room setup with my new fan to try to blow off a bit more heat.
i redid the carbon on my diy carbon filter yesterday and must have either sealed it more or shortened it a bit causing my temps to rise about 3 degrees. that is why i bought the small white fan. going to add another exhaust fan with second carbon filter tomorrow.
the last pic is a view through my intake fan. can see the reflection of both plants on the mylar and i can monitor my temps and humidity without opening up my box.
a piece of used carbon is put over intake so no light gets in during lights off plus if not on there i do not have negative pressure in the grow room. so another exhaust will help the negative pressure.

Carbon filters always pump up the room by 5 degrees or so, Just the not as free flowing air. but makes sense it raised the temps if better sealed . Also I love those's 6" fans bought 2 of them the other day but clip ones with the base and a 12" osculation fan to go with my 240CFM inline fan and does miracles for airflow... Also the plants look great for day 21.. Going to have to try LST'ing my plants one day

i hate the whole lst but want max yield
i say hate in a very nice way would just much rather see them growing natural.
thanks for the regards.just keep it simple and let them do their thing.

Haha the EXACT opposite of the way I feel lol! I hate naturally growing plants man!
Unless we're talking outdoor! BUT indoor we gotta train to bump weights up and keep plants low.

It's a different story when you have like a warehouse full of plants tho with naked bulbs hanging vertically in between then lol.

Man I'm so ready to start the next grow! You should also start supercropping ASAP

i like the idea of super cropping but not sure how beneficial it would be as i am growing horizontal.
all nodes are same height as ends and are starting to reach up ward quickly as it is.
i was checking my plants this morning both the blue and black ones have same number of nodes just the black one has a bit more distance between nodes.
this possible i have 2 different phenos?

420 would like your logic and ideas why super cropping is so good.

looking good, i have never lst'ed as i'm like you the last grow was male. i'm growing 12/12 from seed learning what works and what doesn't. my next grow i may have to veg. for about 4 to 6 weeks then go 12/12.

Every time you bend a branch or supercrop it, it changes the way the plant grows from upward to the center like a Christmas tree, to down and out, making the plan more bushy.
Every bend you make strengthens the entire plant stem structure! You'll also end up with bigger stems as buds due to Supercropping.
and I say bigger but really I mean much stronger.

itll help with the flowering stretch too! It's just one of the ways of stressing the plant to grow better.
