I grow in peat with a coco and yucca mix, aka Miracle Gro Nature's Care Organic Potting Mix.
The light burn will heal if it is not burned to a crisp.
One time I had so much light on 1 plant that the leaves turned purple, but after a week it started turning back to green again.
I would try looking for yellowing leaves that is under the canopy, that wasn't directly exposed to the light, to determine what is wrong with the plants.
If it really is a deficiency, I would try using some Azomite on it.
"AZOMITE, stands for the “A to Z of Minerals Including Trace Elements." It was used by Native Americans for hundreds of years, and is still being used worldwide by professional and commercial growers/farmers.
Azomite is organic, and contains a broad spectrum of over 70 minerals and trace elements, so it is bound to have whatever your plants are lacking.
It's only 10 dollars for a 5 pound bag, and I think you only need a teaspoon or maybe 1/4th of a teaspoon per gallon of water. It's cheaper than Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus too (8ounces for 15 dollars), and you will eventually need it once you run out of your Cal-Mag solution.
