It is because his religion teaches him that African Americans are cursed by God. This is why Romney hates darker people whether they are Latino, African American, or Asian. He has no love for them because his God says that you must wear the magic underwear to protect yourself from them.

I was wondering why blacks would want to be part of the Mormon church to begin with. Why would you want to be part of something that thinks your less of a person because of your skin color?

The "Mormon" church is called, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Blacks have always been part of the church. It's the priesthood that was banned. Not membership. And I'm pretty sure you mean Judaism.
