Yea I could see buying everything you will need for a large scale grow being slightly expensive. But like you said you won't need anything but the minor supplies for awhile.

Oh forgot to hit you guys up with the final weight!! Only 3.2 grams this time... Well plus the 2 caps in the SAB which that one has got to be minimum a half gram. So probably like 4 grams total all said and done, Not the best, but most of the weight came from that one shroom so can't complain!

Bit of an update... More showing what all is up with my grow.. Haven't really got a pic of the setup in a while so figured I would get a few of those while there isn't much action going on with the boomers. I mean, theres a few pins here and there but nothing super exciting right now. Anyways here we go!

Some spawn jars (no that's not my actual SGFC with all that stuff on it don't worry, its a spare LOL)


These are all colonized PFs all consolidating.


A few agar dishes, these ones are all fully grown out, should actually all go in the fridge I'm just lazy haha.


More agar dishes, these are all growing still. Mostly clones but a few from Golden Teacher spores.


The SGFC itself, only from the inside I didn't think the outside of it was important!


Two cakes in the separate mini chamber. One PES Hawaiian (cannibal) he was re-dunked and put back in, And then there is a GT beside it starting to pin



Another Mini chamber, Thought I may have seen a speck of green on this guy so that's why he is separate, U can see I left this jar way too long, those pins on it were on it when I opened the jar hahah there is probably like 8 pins on that cake lol ya waaaay too long!



And this is where the magic happens!

Ha! Nice setup. I know about the time and $ investment. I got as far as making 2 sgfcs. 8 different "races" of cubes syringes. Making liquid cultures. Even the silicone and whatmans for the jars. Picked up a magnetic stirrer with a bunch of rods. Made a shadow box like yours. Tubs for bulk. A whole bunch of mixed flour. Popcorn. WBS. Worm casings. Calc carb.
Then I had to stop. Move out of my crib. Had filthy neighbors and central air. Now I live with filthy roommates. Gotta wait till my next place to grow again. Only just got over a quarter P before I had to pack it in.

8 Varieties of shrooms*** Damn, just started getting to the best parts of it haha, how long ago was this? There is some sweet teks and stuff now, Like liquid inoculant instead of liquid culture much much better, way less chance of contaminates, no stir plate (although for the best one you need a blender) and then there is the slurry (although this isn't new) but 3 day quart jar colonization.... Nuff said right there. LOL,

And I wouldn't worry much about dirty people as long as you have 1 room to yourself that you can keep clean your golden. my house is fucking gross. Unfinished basement that floods out everytime it rains too hard. So you can well imagine all the crap that can grow on the walls and shit down there lmfao. And I haven't had any issues with contams yet.

Nah. I share an apartment. No one clean space. Not enough room for a clean enclosure. Or even to really grow. Also the local environment itself is to high in mold spores. I know about the slurry. I feel that for me. A straight LC is easier to deal with in my mixed environment. Way too many diverse factors to deal with. I'll do a liquid inocculant after I start doin dishes. And have a more stable setup.

Pin = baby shroom. LC = liquid culture. Liquid innoculant = blended agar culture. Basically agar + xtra agar, then blended in a prepared jar. Just google it.

Lol ya the only time I can really do anything with screens tripping is say if I'm watching trippy shit or something. Or watching music videos those always seem to fuck with me real good when I'm tripping..... Especially on the home grown... holy fuck that's basically what my 6 hours constisted of was watching music videos with some trippy ass color changing strobe light, you can well image how that was. Oh shiiiit forgot about that I was just thinking back.. My mom ate a god damned mushroom.... She doesn't do ANYTHING EVER. She drinks and that's literally it no pot nothing.
