OK so tell me what you would do in my situationYou said you took clones during flower because you couldn't keep them long. But it takes longer to grow clones when taken during flower. That's what doesn't make sense.

I don't really understand what your situation is.OK so tell me what you would do in my situation
Thanks Hillbilly..Im looking at taking just 3 or 4 and right now the plant is 2 weeks into 12/12. I have lots of time for it to root so if it takes an extra week or 2 so be ittaking clones when the plant is about half way thru flowering is monster cropping, don't take too many to minimize the stress. It'll take 'em an extra week or two to root up since they have to revert back to the veg state but once they do the growth is explosive. The only reason I know any of this is cause I've done it more than once with no issues
If you want...read my first post when I started this thread so I don't have to go thru this all again. Its pretty simple actuallyI don't really understand what your situation is.
Yeah I was the first person to tell you to take clones during veg and you argued. Then everyone else said the same thing. If you want...read my first post when I started this thread so I don't have to go thru this all again. Its pretty simple actually
LOL I didnt argue...just told you the situation and now Ive gotten plenty of ideas from plenty of people who take clones during flowering (Thanks Guys!) So go argue with them if you want..everything in life isn't cut and dry, deadgro and I think most people on here agree with that and sometimes ya have to think "outside the box". But thanks for your input anywayYeah I was the first person to tell you to take clones during veg and you argued. Then everyone else said the same thing.
Thanks jarvild..appreciate your postsIt wont take clones any longer to root 2 weeks into flowering than it does in veg . The time is for the clone to revert back to a vegetative state after the rooting. Hell I find they root faster after 2 weeks into flowering.
We all make mistakes when we first start out. But there's a right and a wrong way. You'll learn.LOL I didnt argue...just told you the situation and now Ive gotten plenty of ideas from plenty of people who take clones during flowering (Thanks Guys!) Yes we all make mistakes and since you've been a member here for a whopping 3 weeks, I guess you'll learn tooWe all make mistakes when we first start out. But there's a right and a wrong way. You'll learn.
My EXACT thoughts...If pistil tufts have started the re-veg will take at least a month before you see any new growth. By taking clones in flower cycles you INCREASE the risk of weak genetics intersexing (hermaphrodite), You increase the susceptibility of disease and pest infestation. You DECREASE "vigor" significantly IMO, vigor that will take generations to come back around... You're best left to cloning a vegging plant, IMHO only clone whilst in flower to "preserve" genetics... Good Luck...
I find the loss of vigor happens if you take clones from unhappy plants. If you take a clone from a aggressive growing plant there is little if any loss of vigor. That's why I no longer keep my mothers over 6 months before I replace them with the most vigorous Clone. My EXACT thoughts...
