Looking for a Grape Hash Plant?

I have been in love with hash plant for a long time. I used to grow Sensi's Hash Plant but I have been since warned that their stock is not the same (this was in the 90's). Does anyone know of a reputable Hash Plant on the market, preferably the Grape one? I have been watching for Reeferman's HP#1 for a couple years but it hasn't become available in quite some time.

Hey man, do you have any pics of the grape hash plant you're referring to?

I have been growing out an alleged sensi mr. nice guy (g13xHP) for just over a year now. This girl seems to be pure afghani, short and stout, with big dense colas, and golf ball sized buds going all the way down the branches. Her scent is hard to pinpoint, some sort of fuely, astringent, grape smell. I was unaware of a hash plant with scents of grape so this post intrigued me since I've been trying to ID this girl for some time now. Maybe we can help each other if this is indeed an expression of the sensi HP.

Other attributes: 7-8week finish; Lots of long pistols which completely coat the buds in orange upon harvest; All fans fade to deep purple last month of flower, some yellow-purple towards the end; Buds have a darker color, but I wouldnt call it purp, maybe they'd darken in lower temps. Now that I've switched to organics the grape taste is undeniable.
 
Unfortunately I do not have any pics as this was all in the 90's and back then it was a big no-no to take pictures and keep journals.

In the pure Hash Plant from Sensi there was that Grapey/Fuely/Mountain Dew pheno that was simply amazing. Some Purple in the right conditions, and yes covered in big, orange hairs when finished. This seems to be lost after the 90's. I don't see many people getting this pheno or any other breeders mentioning a Grape Hash Plant. Very Very Afghani. The hash is grape mountain dew to the max.

I'm also familiar with the Mr Nice. It is bred with the same hash plant and the pheno your describing sounds exactly like what I remember. Mr. Nice is actually my favorite herb ever smoked hands down. Never seen anything like it since the 90's and haven't seen it since the 90's.

What got me started was an old friend of mine was breeding his Mendo Purp #1 x Big Bud with Sensi's Hash Plant about 4-5 years ago and the offshoots had the nicest grape candy taste I have ever seen.

As a bubble guy, I'm always looking for the most resinous, tastey plant and if I could find the Grape Hash Plant again I think I would be able to find a long-term keeper and supplier of good medicine.
 
i had a very grape smelling and grape tasting pheno of Jamaican grape
i know this is not what your looking for, but for the grape tasting part you are after
maybe look for a hash plant x grapefruit cross or afghan x grapefruit
many of the crosses that use the grapefruit clone will have this taste of grapes and sour grapefruit
depending on pheno

also look at grape stomper and crosses using that from gage green

hazeman seeds had 88G13HP g13 x hashplant old sensi/mr nice stock

Nice information skunkd0c! Thanks!!! I love the Grape from the Purple Urkle but the PU crosses that I am running right now veg SOOOO slow! I need some serious grape in my life.

Sorry man, I didn't notice your reply. I'm eager to get back to my spot and give it a whiff, I'm curious if the familiar note I fail to ID could be mountain dew. This is some of the most exotic smelling herb for sure. I'll post some pics in a bit my bother.
 
Hi RW. We've done purple urkle before and while it was good I found something better. I know its not the strain you are searching for mate but I've recently finished a run of medicann's mazari grape and this stuff was some potent smoke. She has very noticeable dark grape and afghan tastes, sweet yet skunk smells and will put you on your ass if you over indulge. The genetics are black grape x afghani 76' x og kush x super skunk. After a month cure its only night time smoke as even a big cone will lay you out for hours. I tried 2 other grape crosses but mazari was so far the clear winner. Good luck in your search.

Purple urkle day 64 she is slow but worth every second deff not for the cash cropper. It has that astringent grape smell with some nice gassy kush funk. It's like vicks when you cut it i call it the purple vapors20151108_184911.jpg20151110_124651.jpg
