Louie's 2 plant rdwc wedding cake & cotton candy kush

Starting up my second hydro grow but this time in rdwc over dwc. I build the system in about a 3x5 VIVOSUN grow tent with a resovoir on the outside. I used 5 gal square buckets from lowes with 2 inch pvc throughout. 550gph submersible pump in the res. 4 inch ac infinity exhaust with carbon filter. Constant ph and temp meter in the res. Active aqua 15L air pump, two 3 inch stones at each site. A couple fans in there for circulation. I'm using 400 watts of hlg quantum boards and have a 115 watt blurple I might turn on. The plants are about 2 weeks old at this point and I'm trying to keep tempatures down. I just ordered a water chilling probe to install on the res which should drop my water temp of 78 down to high 60s with the amount of water in my system. I'm currently changing out frozen water bottles every few hours until it arrives. Also still messing around with the ac infinity to get it to peak performance. On another note it seems my tap water needs a little cal mag added, wedding cake showed me a little deficiency early on so I added the cal mag and her new growth is looking awesome. I forgot to add the cotton candy kush is by delicious seeds and the wedding cake is seedsman. Hopefully I'll have the time to keep up with this often and I'll get some great constructive criticism and opinions from all of you here at RIU

That Rez is awesome mate ph reading does it also measure ec? Also what are the rust spots on your leaves if u didn’t have a ph reading I would think that is the problem but who knows

Thanks man! I bought the cheaper ph and temp reader that did not come with the ec meter because there was quite the price diff. I'll probably regret it later but works good for now. I think the rust spots were lack of cal mag I added some in and the new growth doesn't seem to have any rust spots but I could be wrong. Either way it looks better now

The girls had some weird things going on due to high res temps. I waited 2 weeks for a chiller that never came unfortunately, so I ordered somewhere else and got it a few days ago. It brought my temp down about 6 degrees but I have insulation on the way to try and get a few more degrees out of it. I also moved my air pump out of the tent and put it in a nice cold window sill behind the tent. With the new fixes my water temp is manageable . Did my first res change a few days ago and all seemed well so I went ahead and topped wedding cake. This should let the cotton candy catch up in height a little.

Got everything insulated, growth is pretty quick and of course I got some orangeish spots going on. Not sure what it is might have to do with ph or camg so I'm going through the checks. Hopefully the spots stop, this wedding cake looks like it's going to be a Monster.
