lowryder 2 under 540watts t5 hydro

yah but i couldnt post pics of the male and i'm having trouble logging on sometimes. might just be when the sites busy. not sure if the 100% is a good thing

not to many people grow males apperently. no one can answer my question of when theyll burst. i dont want pollen all over the room. theres balls all over the plant drooping and looking swelled. but i never grew 1 before. have you?

ohhhhhh you just figured out what i meant 100% ? lolololol yah dont go for it. no prise and seems to cut me off. Did you say youve looked close at your plant with a mag glass yet?

I grew one to about 2 feet tall out of a bag I got, It started dropping pollen and It got messy so I tossed it, didnt need the seeds in my bud anyways...

After I could tell the sex, it was about 3-4 weeks give or take. But dont quote me on that, it was a while back!!!

me sister grew a male one time and i am no where near positive but it was definatly almost as tall as me before they started to burst, something like5-6 weeks maybe. it was a long time ago tho so i cant be sure

hi 82

once plants go in to flower a male plant will start to throw pollen after 14 days once you 1st see it has sacks/balls pollen is almost released as soon as the male flowers develope.

If I use a ppm meter, should I still use a ph tester??? Any comments please!

Hey 1982, how goes it up there? Here's the plants today:weed:. They ccontinue to do okay, getting there. The leaves are still lighter and not the best, I'm thinking it may be lack of humidity. I'm going to work on keeping track of these important things and resolving those issues. Definitely with my next grow of my lr2s I'm going to be more conscientious, I know it will pay off. Oh, here's my grow tent from Cheap Hydroponics, good price and quality. Sorry, tried to put a link in but I don't know how.

yes, use the ppm meter to get the ppm which should be around 1000 depending on how far you are into your grow... and use the pH meter to maintain a 5.8 pH for hydro grow or a 6.5 for soil grow

If I use a ppm meter, should I still use a ph tester??? Any comments please!

wannabee nice pics. I knew they would really bulk up. The colour actually looks fine. A little light but it could be the strain. Nothing to worry about. If you need more humidity you can add a little by just adding a glassfull of water into the grow room. Its not exact but could help. For your link just go to your album or journal. copy the address and paste into My URL under Profile Details. I know how to get there anyways and will check in to see the new pics and progress. They look great. You'll be proud smoking them in a few more weeks. Keep me up to date. and i'll check your album. seeya.

wannabee if you think your plant looks to light in the leaves it most likely is a nitrogen defficiency. If you are on flowering nutes they tend to lack the nitrogen in the amounts marijuana needs. Marijuana can handle very large amounts of nit in veg state but also needs a steady supply during flowering. During the final half of flowering it is common for many leaves to fade yellow. could just be a signal that the plants lifecycle is almost finished and your bud is nearly ready to harvest. Hopefully only a few weeks left and you'll be smoking.

Mine are turning yellow to, even when I add miracle grow nutrients with extra nitrogen. Dont sweat it wannabee!!! Im pretty sure its a flaw in the genes or something, they are really sensetive to nutrients too...

its just the plant dieing off. in the wild marijuana is an annual. it dies towards the end of its life cycle. just showing that it will be finished in a few weeks. at this stage of growth the plant is in flowering nutes that promote growth in the fruits and flowers and not in the leaves. Def normal and nothing to worry about.
