LumiGrow ES 600w Challenge

6 WEEK UPDATE.....
i wish i could be excited, but things arent doing too great. i keep hoping that they will pull through, but they are looking worse and worse everyday. the bushmaster application is STILL taking its toll. i am seeing more dead and dying leaves every time i look at them. even the bud leaves are dying off. i will continue the test until its done, but i really cant consider the results as a "true" side by side. i am very bummed, as i have never fucked up like this. people have always told me horror stories about using BushMaster, but i have never had it affect any growth when using it in my soil beds.
i took many pics to show the downfall....lets see....

here are the plants in the soil bed, under a 1000w HPS. they are from the same mom. same age, same nutes, same everything....besides the lighting. no sign of any stress, and they just keep growing and growing.

Damn bro, when you told me abut this I didn't realize it was so bad....
SUCK AN ASS!!! Maybe it's time to go back to beds eh??? I like the bed idea bro...one pot...one place to water...easy as pie. plus more buffer in there... Maybe just fewer plants per bed eh? I dunno....this sucks bro...
They were right up there with the 600W too....
Keep us posted bro...we gotta figure out what went down. Do you think it was solely the bushmaster???

i can't believe you put in so much work and ruined it with the bushmaster.
i also can't believe you didn't flush it when you first knew you messed up with the bushmaster. everything else was done with surgical precision.

7 WEEK UPDATE......
the LED side is done. all the trichomes are amber. they are getting nice and dark too. i will give them the axe on monday. i cant believe how quick they finished up. its usually the opposite, where the LED grown plants take up to 2 weeks longer to finish up. since the plants are much more sensitive to nutes when grown under LEDs, the overdose of BushMaster really launched them to the finish line. i wish i had a USB Scope to show the difference in the trichomes between the two tests. all i have is a handheld scope at the moment.
meanwhile, the HPS still has a week to go. the trichomes are still clear, only a few seem to be getting milky. i had to top them a couple days ago. i saw a funky looking leaf right above the top cluster on a top. i bent the tip to take a peek inside and the bud rot had already gotten up into the tip. so i went and took all the tops to avoid losing any weight. the bottoms are slowly starting to purple down. they are still swelling and getting stickier everyday. i will keep them going the full 8 weeks.

i will start to flush the HPS side now. the LEDs were flushed right after the BushMaster started to burn them. after that, they had a mild nute formula. i have been flushing them for the past week with ph water and Humboldt Honey. for this last watering they will get water only.... what do you guys think?

It looks like you still came out okay dude. I would be more than happy with that harvest. There is no way to compare them because of the sensitivity to the nute's. Are you going to go back to beds? Maybe the beds with both units would really rock. I hate trying new things, although sometimes we have to...

If you have a few weeks to wait till your next grow, you are welcome to keep an eye on my grow for the LED + HPS results.
I'm currently running 4x90w LED UFOs and a 400w HPS.

My nutrients are listed at the end of the video also (minus the bud blood i used the first week and a half).
stripped down, ready to dry....
the boneyard...... what perfect structures.....doesnt get much better than that....
i will have the next update on friday.....the HPS will get the axe at the end of the week. i really cant wait for a dry weight comparison. what do yall think?
