Male Found - Now What?

One of my 5 girls is a male. I know I need to clear the bastard out, but I did have one important question:

Do I cut him at the stalk and remove him, or do I have to untangle all his roots too? I am in an aeroponic setup.... His roots are very much intertwined with his sisters.

Mostly, I was worried about the dead root rotting and killing off the good roots that are left.

Please let me know...

i think you got a good point.you know penuts cant grow in the same soil put weed cad,and besides i would buy some root cleaner from adavanced nute. or else you whole plant could be ruin?and dont want to stress out the girls do we.

Any other thoughts? I am cutting him at the stalk in 10 minutes... Don't mind if he keep sprouting out of his stalk, as long as no balls are showing to release any pollen.

Much easier to deal with if it was dirt.... That much is for sure.

cut the fecker out as carefully as possible at the bottom of the stem, and when the roots die a bit try and remove as much as possible u will b fine.

you have to get rid of the roots i had the same situation in my hydroton tub of my ebb and flow system. make sure you get as much of the roots out that you can. Dead and decaying roots leads to root rot. Add some hygrozyme or sensizyme or something of that sore to your res from here on out it will make you very happy in the end that you did so.

oh and for my situation i grabbed hold of him at the bottome and slowly jiggled him out.
