So you think that because the lights are manufactured in China, that changes anything? They make a light to my exact specs, send it to me and I test it. Then I did it again and again, until I had something that actually worked... I developed these lights 100%, but I don't manufacture them.

So everyone, remember that AK47 that my friend chopped 1.5 weeks early!?!?!? I have the final weigh in at 7.5 ounces. Too bad she didn't let it go all the way...

The strawberry cough plant she has is looking like it will yield anywhere from 12-16 ounces and it should be finished within a few days.

If you remember back further, I stated that my friend had some AK47 in a jar that was grown under her previous HID setup (3800W). I wanted to illustrate the difference in density between HID, and LED, so I took a side-by-side photo of two very similar sized buds, and weighed them. If you're wondering, the LED is the denser of the two, proving that it's not about size after all, it's about weight

Lastly you'll see the total bud from the AK47 being weighed...

Yep, there are many different methods, and each suits the person growing. You like large, single-cola plants and I like smaller bushier plants with lots of head colas. That's why I taught my friend to use the same method

You did a nice job with your buds by the way, kudos!

Well you can also change that by different ways of cultivating the plant, like topping... So not all HID plants are going to be single cola plants... I dont think the type of light is going to change the plant structure

My 10' x 8' Room gets up to 95 degrees with my 1512W LED setup. I also run 1500ppm CO2 which allows me to run my plants at higher temps without stress, and LED's don't create heat stress from the light source, so plants can take it easier than HID at high temps.

When I run out of CO2, I turn my A/C unit on. I'd say it operates for about 5-10 minutes every hour to keep the room at 85.

Yep, plants in my garden get topped 2-3x prior to entering bloom. They also get 18" tall and the total process generally takes about 4-5 weeks, but you get very high yielding plants. I have plants growing in my LED garden right now that will produce colas similar to yours when done, except 2-3 per plant. They should be finished in a few weeks, although they underwent a little stress recently since I was gone on vacation...

How long did she flower for? veg? and how tall was the plant?

The plant was put into bloom between July 26? If I wasn't an hour away I'd check, but I recall reading the 26th on it's tag. It generally blooms around 9 weeks which meant it should have harvested around the 28th of this month. Instead it was harvested around the 17th. The plant stood just under 2.5'

It's so much more peaceful when you use that function

I thought moderators were here to keep the peace, not make people hit the ignore button in order to stop being pissed off by some ignorant asshole. From post 1 on here, all he's done is attack, slander, and baselessly bash me for posting results of my grow and my friend's grow online. I have hit the report button now several times so that appropriate action could be taken, instead of making me defend myself against his relentless BS. I'm not the only user that has pointed this out, nor the only one who has clicked ignore, so please do us all the favor, and "discipline" the "baby" so we can all get back to this thread like adults and carry on in a progressive manner.

There would be many disappointed people here if this thread were shutdown. Don't punish everyone for 1 relentless slanderer. Take care of him so we can all continue in peace.

I could've sworn this thread was closed and now it's back? I was actually a bit disapointed that it was shutdown. This is a legitimate grow journal, even if it does showcase a product designed by the OP.

I would like the OP to defend her product against the charge that it's the same china-made product that is available elsewhere.

Where do the differences lie? Where is the ACTUAL cost difference?

I know this is your thread and whatnot, but I am not sure you can honestly say they work better than any other LED grow light in the world. Just because you have not seen results with your own eyes from LED's other than yours. Not tryin to cause a rukus, but thats a bold statement.
