Mature Plant With Yellowing Leaves

Howdy Folks,

I have a NL#5 that is showing yellowing leaves. She's 10 weeks old and is expected to finish around 12 weeks, according to the supplier.

Trichomes are clear so she has awhile yet to go.

What I'm wondering is if she's just yellowing because she is almost at the end of her life cycle, or if she's got a nutrient deficiency.

This is the first plant I've taken to finish so maybe I'm being overcautious but would appreciate some advice from more experienced growers!

She's in soil (FFOF/perlite), PH'd to 6.2-6.5. Fed AN trio nutrients at 1/4-1/2 strength (less now that she is near the end). Also used AN cal-mag, Big Bud, Overdrive, etc.

I tried searching for similar pictures and looked at nutrient deficiency charts, but haven't seen anything that quite matches what I'm seeing.

Thanks!

Thanks! NL#5 was one of my favorite strains, but it's been about 20 years since I last had it...looking forward to seeing if it's as good as I remember :)

Does increasing the ph allow for the availability of certain nutrients needed for the last few weeks of bloom? I think I remember reading that somewhere.

Edit: Found a ph nutrient uptake chart that answered my question!

Just in case others can benefit from this thread, here's a picture of the NL#5 on the day she was harvested. I let her soil dry out fkr a few days before chopping, hence the overall droopiness of the leaves. Cheers and thanks for the advice!

Yeah I actually ran into trouble with that part. Trouble in that it dried too quickly. It only took about 3 days to be dry on the outside of the buds and the stems would bend but not quite snap. Close to snapping though...So I quickly put it in jars and monitored the humidity. Kept drying until it reached about 62% RH and then added Bovedas.

Ended up smelling like hay/grass so I know I dried it too quickly. Will have to take a different approach next time.

I used a fan and a humidifier while drying and I think the fan might have blown on the buds a bit...not a lot, but enough to dry it too quickly .

yeah no direct fan point it away just on low to keep air circulating and keep it cool 60f and 60% rh is what i did last time it took 8 days to dry
