So I went out to Wally World and found a self that fit my room rather nicely and decided... Well... I'm out of room on the floor, my closet is looking like a jungle... I need to expand! Upwards!
It was originally designed to be a 4 tier shelf with a standing height of 48 inches... Gave about 13.5 inches or so per section..
That's not going to work if I want to keep things organized and in a "progressive" order...
Top shelf has kind of a built in heat mat from the 2 ( 6500k, 100w) cfl's attached to the bottom side. This is for the clone tray/humidity dome. It keeps the bottom warm and the cool air moving throughout the room keeps them from getting too hot!
Middle Shelf (holds 26 3" starter pots) has 2 (6500k, 100w) cfl's attached to the top, this is where rooted clones will be going into starter pots. Now I've made this light fixture to be FIXED in one position so the plants will stretch a little bit before going to 1 gallon grow bags.
Bottom Shelf (holds 8 (1) gallon grow bags) has currently 2 (soon to be 4) (6500k , 100w) cfl's hanging on a moveable light fixture, after stretching the clones a little bit, they will be topped and have lights dropped way down to veg out and bush out a little bit, till they are ready to be replaced by the next batch.
As they out grow the bottom shelf, they will be transplanted into 3 Gallon smart pots and thrown into the flowering room.
The fans are on a switchable 12v DC Power adaptor, so If they are blowing too hard, I can lower the voltage out put to slow the fans air movement!
Pictures of the fans, lights, the mounting bracket i made to hold the lights horrizontal, etc etc! Enjoy! I sure did making this!
Burn on!
