Sorry for the long question, but make sure to answer the second question at the end!

I asked this the other day but thought I should go into a bit more detail.

I'm 29, single, no kids and never married. I work full time, get benefits and pay my own bills, though I do have a male roommate.
I work hard at not looking like a stoner. I don't wear cheech & Chong shirts or a marijuana leaf hat/bracelet. I maintain a clean appearance, clean car and normal lifestyle. Think Dexter, instead I'm smoking pot haha.
I struggle with dating because I do share early on that I smoke weed. I don't lie to women, and I won't sneak around. But my smoking makes it difficult to date. The last girl I dated (25) said she can't date someone who smokes because her: "I could lose my job." Me: "Bitch you're a cashier at Walgreens." Okay I didn't say that! But I thought it!
Any advice? At my age, women are looking to get married and have kids. I'm all for that too. But why not live it up while you can? I accept that when I start having children I should stop, but that's not any time soon.
Any advice?
On a side note, I have 20ish clones in red solo cups. I'm transferring t 2 gallon containers for a soil SoG. Would anyone be interested in seeing the difference between using fox farm nutrients (the trio and open sesame, cha Ching and beasty blooms) and one that gets only water?

Haha, I feel for you dude. Maybe you should take a leaf out of my friends book.. He's a white guy with dreads down to his arse, listens to only reggae all the time.. He's got stoner written all over him. The girls love him, or some do, I guess they know what they are getting into before the first words are spoken. That said most of them do try to change him somewhat a few years down the line.

I suppose it depends on where in the world you live though really. I imagine its easier to find a 420 girl in the legal states in the USA
than it is where I live in the UK. Where I live at my age its still frowned upon by a large percentage of women. Most girls here are into clubbing and getting smashed on booze every weekend.

You just reminded me of a situation a few years ago. Next door used to be a student house. I saw a girl struggling to get some stuff moved in so naturally offered to help. She was very flirty and nice to chat to. The next day she knocks on my door and asks for a tin opener.. Must of been living on beans, the cheap kind that don't have a ring pull ey. Anyway I had just sparked up a fat one before opening the door, went back to the front door with it and tin opener, she couldn't get away quick enough. A few days later I walk past her house and someone shouts "druggy" out of the window. I was a bit shocked but some folks have lead a sheltered life and have very narrow minds.
She never even gave me eye contact for the following year.. :confused: Even after I picked her up off the street unconscious and laying in her own spew.:spew:

Maybe you come off a bit ostentatious. Two threads about this and in both you say "I work hard at not looking like a stoner". If you have to work hard to portray an image then maybe that's your problem. Some people can smell bullshit a mile away. Do what you want to do and if someone doesn't approve fuck em. Stop bringing it up when you meet someone it's weird, like it's the most important part of your life.
There's nothing wrong with being a cashier at wal mart either. Stop being a judgemental prick and maybe people wouldn't judge you.

yea but defining yourself as a stoner first makes alot of your better attributes seem less important to you. so in turn seems to her that all you two would be doing is getting high and waiting around to get high again.. girls want some pussy slamming, adventures, keg stands, cocaine, lovey dubby dates, movies.... girly things.....

Kinda have a point if Ole boy here is trying to come off staight edge and the turns around around and says by the way I habitual smoke cannabis is a curve ball bro. You have to understand that regardless of how you feel about it the public at large view cannabis users as Fringe society members lumped up with me this heads drunks and everyone else.

I'm personally dealing with this problem with my conservativly raised wife. I'm a normal working Joe but recent have been laid off 3 times in a row from high paying jobs that did not allow me to in my opinion live to my fullest. Since then I have said fuck money I wanna be happy. My wife still can't quite wrap this around her head and is worried what her family will think if I take a "lesser" job.

There could be a few things

One you're looking for a specific type of person that's not how dating works , dating works when you connect with someone most times that person isn't your ideal person or the one you thought you wanted

Two you're limiting your dating to a very specific criteria

Three you may live somewhere that has a small population

Four you don't know how to present yourself well enough for online dating

Five you're too desperate

Six you're being too picky and or you're not being serious enough or too serious

Seven you're looking in the wrong places



And lastly you're not good enough looking for the type of woman you're trying to be with

No I'm not trying to be rude I'm letting you know there is more to this than superficial looks but that's hard to get past through online dating since all people can see is a photo and a short blurb

Maybe it isn't the weed thing that turns girls off. Maybe they are using that as an excuse.
For instance if a Johnny Depp looking type guy asked out a non smoking woman out , and lit up a fatty on their date, do you think she would run for the hills?? Probably not! If a woman is truly attracted to a guy she will stick around for date two and three.
And no I'm not trying to be mean but you said your a hard worker etc, but that doesn't tell us if you are good looking, funny, charming, etc....

I can relate my friend, damn if they'll admit it, but most women our age have a laundry list of "desirables."

They just need to give it up and stop asking so many questions.
