I've been using Part A (5-12-26) on and off for about 2 years. I like to try different brands and mixes, but I keep coming back to MC Part A alongside a cheaper generic brand of calcium nitrate. I get consistently good results with it and often a magnificent burn. I'm not crazy about the smell of it and it needs to be mixed at least 15 minutes before it's used because there is small amount of it that requires a little extra time to dissolve. I've speculated to myself regarding what I believe to be the reaction involved but I don't know for sure, however I can testify that it completely dissolves with the added mix time.
It's so cheap compared to many other things that I have used and it never clumps or gets sludgy, even in a poorly sealed container. An absence of ammonium nitrate certainly helps with the shelf life. About a 2 year supply of it is comparable in money spent to about a 2 month supply of some of the "fancy label" liquids that I also love.

Ended up having to go back to Jack's 321. I started to run hypochlorous acid and believe it's conflicting with the amino acids. Was getting an odd brown residue..sucks but first world problem lol

Most nutrients are pretty similar and use the same ingredients which is why using inexpensive dry nutrients like MegaCrop or Jacks will provide everything the overpriced cannabis specific nutrients that come in a dozen bottles provide. All you have to do is read the ingredients and not pay any attention to cool names or shiny labels. It makes no sense to pay for water and packaging like so many do.

One thing that always bothers me about the MC is the amateur-level labelling and the fact that their online spokesperson makes basic chemistry mistakes (ex: on one of the other forums he/she stated that gypsum contains magnesium). And even here on the label that you posted, one can see "chelated calcium" in the ingredients but no calcium listed on the guaranteed analysis. This could mean that there is a very low level of calcium which did not meet the requirements to be listed and I tried to get clarification on that from the company but that was like trying to squeeze water from a stone.

All of those things aside, MC 5-12-26 is GREAT fertilizer. The plants love it and it dissolves more readily than the Jack's. Both Jack's and MC are great and I fully recommend either.

Masterblend also makes a 5-11-26 that is similar but has about half the magnesium and sulfur that Jacks has.
