I live in Southern quebec,so usually the ground freezes around second week of october

I think I will let this one grow naturally,I've never done that!!Anyway I will put them in the same pots that I used last year .I usually get them out in the morning after I get them inside for the night a long process but it' worthed because I can finish strains no one except from my part of the world

yep .I never grew skunk .Do you know if it's supposed to have a good yield??

No idea. According to DP, "A very nice Skunk selection. Good results in yield and `High`. Our cheapest, but nevertheless `quality` feminised seeds.
THC: 8.1%
flowering period: 7 - 11 weeks

So they say "good yield"...sure hope the THC is higher than 8.1%, though, lol.

I'm tempted to try DP's Jorge's Diamonds #1...they claim it's resistant to spider mites ("spider mites and other pests know to leave Jorge’s Diamonds #1 alone"). I'd like to test that claim out. We have lots of mites around here.

I don't why but I never got mites indoor?? maybe it's too cold......... For the THC content I sure hope too!!! lol but anyway it's a freebie like the Mekong

Yeah, I guess it's because it doesn't get cold enough here in the winter to kill the mites off. Never had a problem with 'em when I was living (and growing) in the northeast.

Ya know, I'll bet that THC content is low because they tested it differently back in the day. There's some discussions around here on riu about THC content and the different testing methods...like this one at post #244 (https://www.rollitup.org/seed-strain-reviews/417897-30ish-yr-old-columbian-gold-25.html). DP reports their Cali O as having 7.8% THC, but I've seen other reports that claim more like 17%. I have the feeling that DP used the older method to determine THC content (especially with their older, more established strains like Cali O and Skunk). Only way to find out for sure is to grow it out and smoke it, I guess.

I liked it a lot. It was my first grow, though...and I hadn't been tokin regularly at the time, so it was more than good enough for me. This was about ten or eleven years ago, and I hadn't even gotten high for nearly a decade. My buddy gave me a j with some bud he'd just gotten from his connection...and I was blown away! Honestly, I took a few hits and I thought I was gonna have a heart attack. Had to do a few shots of whiskey just to mellow out, it was that racy. Never found out what strain he gave me...and his connection dried up, so I decided to start growing my own so I'd have some whenever I wanted. I grew DP Cali O and a strain called Buddha (more indica) for my first time. Of the two, I liked the Cali O much more...a good all-around smoke, for day- or night-time use. Def wasn't as potent as the killer weed my friend gave me, though. To this day, I still wish I could find out what that stuff was. Very intense...
