hey moon sorry that you didnt win the battle I am in the middle of my first dwc also and I cant wait for it to be over, check out my grow, look into the hempy buckets my friend simple form of hydro......... cheaper to build than dwc, and no moving parts................

No i do not think the hemp cord during germination was the problem at all...
I suspect that it was a combination of factors but i will have to do some testing in my next Water grow...
Yes the ONLY way i found to fight the rotting growth was to keep the h202 at higher concentrations almost daily... If i stopped using the h202 it would quickly come back... So if it were in the final stages i would have done that but because it was so young i decided to just transplant it...
During the middle of the battle i washed the bucket out With bleach every three days at the very least if not more to try and combat it... I got tired of that routine as well...

DWC totally was fucked for me. Then I bought some solid black buckets with black lids and wayyyyyyyyyyy overpowered air pumps PER bucket. I also have been doing 13mL of 35% H2O2 once a week for 4 gallons of water. Finally DWC is working for me flawlessly. The plant is thriving and just exploding past the rockwool plants. My temps are rather hight too.... with the lights on it gets up to like 74.
My advice would be getting black buckets. Algae (red and green) can grow in moments with light hitting that water. you want to do your best to keep it totally absent of light.

Yes i have black buckets, check the pictures...
I do not want to make h202 a regular part of my plants nutrient solution... Yes it kills off any unwanted bacteria but it also kills some beneficial bacteria...

yeah wow she made it
had one almost die too third week of flowering gave it a bad nute mix
took four days to recover and growth has been stunted for a week after then it started to go
but the flowers are all shocked and not producing I think
does this sound possible
