yes i started a plant once under a cfl but i accidentally stepped on the bulb and haven't had any cfl use since but i liked the way the light worked i would for sure use cfls for a growHave you thought about CFL bulbs as part of your grow?

looks very niceCheck out this cfl micro grow. https://www.growweedeasy.com/entire-microgrow-pictures-week-by-week
If you have a regular light. I was thinking about adding CFL bulbs to the sides and lower partsmaybe ill do a 2x2x4 for the mothers and do a 3x3x5 for the plants and do 2 in the 3x3 with scrog
I made myself a big box with 4 sections of 2'x4'x40" and have 2 plants in each at different points of flower and veg.And that’s easier to do when you have more than one. When you have one it’s easier to debate starting over. When you have 4 one can be bad and you can keep it. Knowing worse case scenario you’ll have 3 good ones.
I’ve done it and I would grow at least two of it was me.
at least that was my experience with a 2x2
I was reading an old post on another forum the other day about CFL vs LEDs...may be worth a quick read through. If you have a regular light. I was thinking about adding CFL bulbs to the sides and lower parts
Very niceI made myself a big box with 4 sections of 2'x4'x40" and have 2 plants in each at different points of flower and veg.
Its a work in progress still...this is a pic from a few months back, but so far its working pretty well for me.
That is cool. What is the controller on the right?I made myself a big box with 4 sections of 2'x4'x40" and have 2 plants in each at different points of flower and veg.

That was my DIY driver(s) for the blurple lights I was running. That is cool. What is the controller on the right?
I am going to have to automate my grow, start on it after the current one is done. Not really sure what I am going to do yet. I have no experience with those little modules, used to have computers at work talking to controllers out in the field. That was my DIY driver(s) for the blurple lights I was running.
Each set of 10x3 watt LEDs had its own little driver...had 15 rows of LEDS on 3 panels, so 15 little drivers...all in a nice little box...lol

There is an Arduino in the middle that controls the pumps and lights etc

BE WARNED !!!I am going to have to automate my grow, start on it after the current one is done. Not really sure what I am going to do yet. I have no experience with those little modules, used to have computers at work talking to controllers out in the field.
I have an electronic background, my brother designs control equipment and in his spare time has played with some of these modules. I have enough hobbies that I don't need another, just want to get the job done. Winter is a better time to play with that kind of thing.BE WARNED !!!
The hobby of Ras Pi and or Arduino and all the mini controllers is HIGHLY ADDICTIVE...ok same as growing, but thought I'd warn ya...lol
They can be as simple as you like to very complex...its all up to you and what you add...its kinda like electronic legos.
