yah, you can use molasses in combo with other flowering nutes..
i thought that i would just say that you have to keep an eye on your ph levels if your using molasses in soil as it can cause your ph to drop like a rock and can in turn cause nutrient lockout.. i was using molasses for around three or four grows, but then i started to have nute deficiency issues and a friend pointed out that the molasses can cause ph issues in your soil if your using too much of it.. i have now stopped using molasses and just grandma engbys products in its place..

lime will balance ph. molasses is an additive not a nute. use it with nutes and during flush. its great stuff

Molasses is also badass on a hot biscuit with melted butter, Yeah c'mon!

Just sayin.....

But yeah, I've also used it for the past few growing seasons during flowering and can vouch for it there as well.

I used to do 2 tablespoons of molasses, and the had a bug problem..too sweet! cut back to 1 tablespoon per gallon and the results were just as great and no more bug problem!

I use it from the start of waterings at about 1/8th strength, just a dab will do in the beginning. This not only helps feed the plant it also is great for the soil. If you are growing in soil and are organic this is a must use for overall plant health, mix in some wood ash to keep the ph steady. I came across this thread yesterday which says all you need to know about molasses.https://www.rollitup.org/organics/113468-molasses-plant-carbohydrates-b-com.html hope this helps. Happy Growing

Just water as you normally would require. I hate to sound generic like that but there are SO many variables like soil drainage, outside temp, the amount of direct sunlight which determine the soil's ability to retain moisture and the plants consumption. Obviously bigger plants require more water, too. If you are using a mulch or plastic barrier at the base of your plant then your watering needs will be reduced drastically! Best thing to do is learn to read the leaves of the plant, which is something that comes from experience or reading up on plant health. In these dog days of summer right now I'm having to water twice a week because the soil where I planted has really fast drainage (low moisture retainage). I just base my waterings around local rainfall and outside temp. Good luck!

Did anyone ever test on say 2 plants of the same strain and size with no other variables to see if this really produces bigger yields?
What's in the molasses that fattens up buds? The sugars?
Could maple syrup also do the same?

i think maple is too sweet and might cause too much problems with mass amounts of sugar

You can use molasses throughout flowering.

I use Grandma's Unsulphured Molasses:

grandma's unsuphered molasses.jpg

I use 1 Tablespoon/gallon:

You can find it at any Walmart or pretty much any large chain grocery store.

Again, use Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses if you use Blackstrap Molasses. Important note to repeat.

So how much of a difference in weight between the plants?

You just used only molassas and no nutes with that?
How much Phosphorus is in molassos?
