Hey my friend is growing in a tent and we are starting to see mold on his soil? Suggestions on how to save the plants? Thanks in advance

I think he has been watering about every other day, I’m not 100% sure it’s grayish greenish, he is a dumbass tho and put coffee grounds on top of the soil.... pretty sure that has something to do with it, had him scrape that top moldy layer off carefully, any suggestions on how to keep it from coming back

believe it or not, that is actually helpful...it's breaking down the organic matter that makes the nutes locked in the organic matter available for uptake by the plant. if you ever see a red colored mold, or a black colored mold then you should freak out....this one is not an issue from my experience.

That makes sense. Like @mudballs said, its breaking down and will help feed the microbes. I would just get a fork and scratch it in. Even that's not necessary.
If, in the future, you do come across a nasty mold, hydrogen peroxide is a quick fix, but theres a problem to be addressed.

I pune bottoms too, but leaves are needed to grow. Got to leave some!

I’ll let him know to go a bit easier, there are lots of leaves higher up on the plant just nothing low

Thats ok then, pic was lying to me. Looked stripped. I take bottoms off too. And never water stalk, but l use big pots.
