In my days as an addict, I was at a house one time where we were all shooting heroin. this guy I knew and his girlfriend were there. Girlfriend gets back after having gone out and scored some heroin. We just had one spoon. She said that she got to go first because she went and got it, he and I agree.
She takes her shot, eyes roll back, she collapses.
He fixed his shot before he called 911.
That's a trooper right there.
Turns out she od'd and died. Nothing we could have done for her. That was some good shit.
