Thanks a lot man
sorry bout your mold & early chopI know I know, and it was said to me with the best of intentions but it's a sensitive time lol. Once we get these down I'm gonna strip and bleach the whole room out before we put any more into flower, get a few more fans and an ozone generator in there too. It's just one of those things, live and learn, but I had such a fight keeping them up and was determined they were going another week at least. Obviously wasn't meant to be. But, I have an almost full veg closet ready to go for round 2, onwards and upwards
Sorry to hear you're dealing with rot. I lost a lot of smoke a few years back from it. I hit my outdoor and indoor the same year. Grew around 20 yrs and never experienced it til then. It's heartbreaking and sucks donkey balls. Hope you can salvage a nice s
Head stash out of it.
Thanks guys, appreciate it. We're gutted but it's just one of those things, better luck next time and all that. It's just sad trimming the buds, most of them are just obviously not done and you can see the potential in them, what they should've been. Trying to trim out as much of the leafy stuff as possible to open out the buds and hopefully prevent losing any more to rot. And my nice slow dry has had to go out the window too, I just can't risk having them hanging around damp so we'll be putting the radiator on overnight, not blasting them, I don't want them roasted but, even though the temperature outside is much warmer through the day now with summer coming, it still gets quite low overnight so I'm gonna use the radiator to keep a constant warm temperature in there and have the 16 inch fan on the middle setting blowing around the room. I read it's best not to have the fan directly on the buds but is it ok to have it blow on them if it's just sweeping past backwards and forwards?sorry bout your mold & early chop
but hey otherwise your girls were looking great
now you have it figured out for next time so mold.
For this crop I'd make an exception to the no direct wind law. You want to get the humidity of the buds down to 50 or 55% as quickly as possible. Mold won't grow at that humidity. Watch them carefully, and you should be ok.Thanks guys, appreciate it. We're gutted but it's just one of those things, better luck next time and all that. Possibly a lb give or take a little? Is anyone prepared to take a guess at how much is there? I know it's a bit sad to look at but you can just about see in the pics the size of the buds we're dealing with and how much we've got hung up, I have no clue how to estimate a weight and we've no scales yet so I don't even know the wet weight.
Haha well playedPossibly a lb give or take a little?
Yea can you take a look at my last thread and tell me Watchu think?Haha well played
Thats a shame to have to cut down earlier than you wanted to! The yield looks great but its a bitch knowing what could have been! Glad you noticed it from the get-go though, could have been much worse, that stuff is unforgiving! And glad to see you've got the other girls ready to go, gotta keep it moving and chuggin along I suppose it's better that they were cut down with a little bud rot rather than the early flowers we all saw from about 2-3 weeks ago, that would have really sucked lol.We harvested the 4(!) plants that showed any sign of bud rot, it's a bit depressing but there's still a fair bit there I guess, got to be grateful for that much.
