That may be the case in your state or country. My state you go to prison you work for the prison 8 hours a day for 25 cents an hour if you have a high paying job. If you hit somebody you catch a new charge with time added, so you don't go in, you just don't get out. Your post sounds like my first trip 20 years ago, but as dylan said,"times are a changing".

Synthesizing LSD-25 is not possible if you do not have a lab, and a background in organic chemistry. This isnt pour some of that and this in, boil er chemistry. It is advanced shit. LSD is something you need to get right, or else the product will be horrible. Its also famously unstable. Id love to be able to make my own acid but without a lab, some serious chemistry know how and access to very closely watched precursors youre not gonna be making acid :( Thats why legit high quality acid is hard to find, and different drugs get laid on blotters to deceive people.

It's true that it is a niche market and probably much less competition than weed but there is not more money in shrooms. Shrooms are about $125-$200 an oz. The problem with shrooms is the penalties for growing are much harsher than weed. I don't think anyone wants to play with that.

The good part, is that there are no real way of knowing someone is propagating them... Next to zero electricity, next to zero medium, zero smell, just keeping high humidity a/ heat / dark, during incubation, and maintaining humidity while fruiting with a bit of light... I mean you could do this shit in the trunk of an abandoned car... lol

IDK what prisons you went to, but to get gang raped you need to be quite a piece of shit, or fuck someone over badly inside, or be a total pussy. Even if push comes to shove, in the most violent prisons in the united states, there are homosexual inmates giving it up for free, and if its that big of a problem? Join a gang... If your that bad into it, that's your life anyways... I think many of you guys are being misinformed. Were not talking San Quentin or Folsom here.

Sorry but that's insane and your showing your age. Some of us done time, real time and it's no life. You can make a life and be your own boss, or find a job you like. But shrooms is a very niche market and you can get some very long time for them. Just live in a legal state and follow the guidelines for there program, you can make a living that way without all the risk.

I watched a documentary on a guy who had cluster headaches to the point that he was going to blow his brains out. Somehow he discovered that shrooms held the answer to peace and he started cultivating them and taking them every odd month to avoid getting the suicide threatening headaches. Unfortunatly he was afraid of them and said he hated taking them. He would hide in his bedroom under the covers like a little bitch during their effects.

As for the legality of shrooms, I can't say for 100% legitimacy, but when I lived in Alberta Canada, it was "known" that selling magic mushrooms could lead to a conviction of MANSLAUGHTER (not to be mistaken for man's laughter) if caught dealing them. This kind of kept me out of the loop, and although I would love to personally cultivate them, I am weary of distribution without a 100% answer that I can't get charged with a ridiculous outcome.
 
I did well with brewing homemade steroids. gym rats still bug me to get up and running again. the biggest fear , is if I can be around steroids and not use. been down that dark ugly road and really was hooked for about 10 years. been steroid free since 5:25am dec 7 2005.
 
As many of us know, all drugs or anything that alters the mind, can be addictive. Do them long enough, that's your reality, not reality itself. I know very few marijuana addicts, zero shroom addicts, a few roid guys, a few coke guys, and a bunch of energy / amphetamine junkies. I could never deal crack or some shit i knew was habit forming, its against my moral compass. I follow the moral compass, the law can suck a dick.

If i may ask, what conviction(s) landed you there, and what is your race?
 
I grew shrooms for about 6 months back in 09, and it was tons of fun. If your wanting to grow bulk to sell it does really take some work both in the prep side, and in the keeping everything clean in the long run. I've wanted to get set up again ever since, but the places I've lived it just hasn't been ideal.

I'll add that if you are also tripping on them some people find that the mushrooms don't like to be sold. I didn't experiance this, but mushrooms aren't just some silly drug, they are a living breathing entity. They need to be treated as such, and be treated with some respect. The mushrooms will teach you alot if you let them, and punish you if you don't listen!
