let me tweek the brakes on any more of this back and forth if i may fellas...i was only offering my unbiased and relatively experienced opinion so far as trying to lend a hand to a fellow consumer and gardener...listen, if ur a racist ur a racist, so be it. not sure if this is really the place to vent that, i think we r all on here looking for tips from people that choose to share. 1st and foremost i do a lot of reading on the blogs and i have an account w another site(dont wanna name drop, i see that invokes feelings online sometimes) but i just felt that i needed to sign up and make a comment on this topic since it is local...personally i go in...im not at all for play and w the money i spend i want to know that im running optimally in all ways and can have products made available that arent always stock items in RI. i will restate my earlier opinion...mother nature is very very good. do they have a register?! we were talking about their merchant account to take credit cards when i went in yesterday. they are a new store and from the looks of things they havent taken out loans or lines of credit, so they are working up to things it seems. pardon me for not re-posting right back, i was having a wonderful weekend with my wife,3 yr old son, and 14 yr old daughter in manhattan...not here to make friends, here to exchange helpful info and maybe even a clone and/or nug or 2 if u have ur card and r a decent human being. and i keep it respectful and humble and i expect the same thing in return. as far as having a card, i think my man was saying that spinning off of my tomato comment, i think everyone knows nutes r legal beagle. i would keep things indirect online especially with reference to someone with a business at stake. but thats just how i move, i know hydrofarm is big on not referencing anything hemp, medical or not. they will pull ur vending. wouldnt want my online blog to shut someones income down. good luck everyone, i will swim around and put up some insightful comments elsewhere here now and establish some credibility on this site...

what good fam bam...just to make a comment, since everyone here is counting and im already on...i have been living in RI for a few years now and just 2 yrs ago there were only 3 stores locally...organically grown, cranston, liquid sun, pawtucket, and harvest moon in foxboro. i use house and garden with some twists, and foxboro was the only one that had it...the dude is alright but kind of a weirdo, w the bird and everything, anyways, the fuck am i gonna do, switch nutes out because i dont like dukes haircut?! now if u use h+g or advanced u know what im talking about...these r premium nutes (some of advanced shit im not so sure, but some is mandatory for grade a results and bulk together) and im not dumbing down my grow over personal hangups. paul in pawtucket is a weirdoX1000 but he carried some great important elements that i needed. now there r so many shops that i shop around to get what i need and a good value for my $ plus i spend my money w who i like...there is a place...solar seeds. i didnt mention them before because they r a little out of everyones way im sure, more geared to ct customers, but they r great people and have great lines and products, and will order anything for u, they r so out of the way that they carry every distributor and are very knowledgeable, prices are good and its very discete w a discrete location. im actually friends with the owner there, jeremy, hell of a guy, the only grow store owner i would ever show my grow! top knotch guy, his girl is a class act, the dad is cool but always screws up the register(check ur reciept) and they have a greenhouse and tasty veggies for sale at a stand out front(organic too and cheap)...so there it is...i officially have 3 comments...im going to go smoke again eat a yogurt and go shift the spleen on this bad bitch downstairs...

I don't care about anyone's race, esp. when I go to a store. I care about having some products. I care about having a cash register, so I don't have to spend a $3.00 ATM fee next door to get some money. I care that when I call and ask about a product, I get a straight answer- so when I drive there to buy said product, it is what was described on the phone (it wasn't- not even close). For weeks these guys say "waiting for the shipment of ____", "didn't get the delivery of ____", "we should have that soon", ETC, ETC, ETC.

I call bullshit. I did not want to get into specifics as to why you shouldn't shop there, but there you have it.

Bring exact change, they don't have a cash register
Don't expect to find any real hydro units there
Limited selection of lighting
Limited selection of nutrients and additives
Expect lots of excuses why they don't have something, but they can order it for you
Not a General Hydroponics store
You just might feel uncomfortable dealing with some cool spanish cats who may or may not be ex pot dealers

OK, you win. I want to buy all of my supplies from some cool spanish cats that are ex weed dealers. How could I have been so wrong in my thinking? It seems like honestly we dont have any real money backing grow shops in ri. Or they all just dont have enough clients to expand to a size to house all of what I need. Either way we are all RI people. Im growing some amazing stuff with help from organicly grown. Yes they do charge msrp but I have not had any issues with them. I never called mother nature whatever for the price on thiose 6 gallons cause i got all the main nuts. at half off from someone . For now on Im just buying 6 gallons at once so I dont have to go around th state for a gallon of flora blend. Lets put R.I. on the map for bomb buds not dumb bickering. In life people will always have opinions you dont agree with. Thats why their called opinions. Ill make less friends in life then enemys , but thats ok cause the people that know me will be there till the end and the same for me to them. I hope you all grow some amazing stuff and help a few people out who really need their medicine. If you read this and your very well at what you do, I could use a few cool peeps on my friends list .

Well tstacks to let you know mother nature hydroponics sells a ton of gh cuz that is what they push more then any other store around cuz they know how good it works and how inexpensive it is compare to the other nutes!!!!!you should just go back in there and see how much they have grown i dont know if you know about business but is hard for people to start up especially a hydro store for what i hear go back in and let us know if you see any good changes!!!!!!!!!!

The Big Kahuna is NOT larger then the xxxtreme.And its only a 6" duct.Tey do have SOME cheap stuff though.

Disclaimer, I am not friends with any of these shop owners but it's important to me that atleast they act friendly towards me as a potential customer. I shop where I feel comfortable and where I can get what I want for a reasonable price.
I'm trying the house & garden line and I did buy most of it at mother natures in Warwick because another caregiver told me they sell it the cheapest, a few bucks over cost. It's also only a 15 minutes drive hitting all the lights and it is cheaper than all the other stores. In my experience shopping in RI over the past 3-4 yrs I have hit all the shops except for OG in Cranston as they never had what I needed when I called. ex smart pots-worm castings. I know they have a new shop going up now so I hope it's more supplied with the common staples. Others have had the same complaints and always the same answer, (It's on order)!! and a shop in Chepachet as it's just to far of a drive when most are much closer. Might be a great place, I just don't know.
Paul at the shop on the Pawtucket-Mass border is straight up NUTS but thats just my opinion. I went in a few times, spent a grand but he acts in the classic bipolar manner. He's in a business that nurtures paranoia and he is certainly that. Same guy but very different personalities every time I went in. It's to difficult dealing with people who's personalities run Hot an Cold. Not worth my time and it's pricy.
Hydro earth on MineralSpring, nice shop but again, it really depends on who is behind the counter when you get there. I've had both good and not so good experiences there. One guy is very friendly and has great customer service while another should not be working with the public.
Good to grow in West Greenwich, nice place with lots of room. Prices are higher on pretty much everything in comparison to most others but they have everything you might need from CO2 generators to small trimmers and I've yet to see that at any other shop. I'd bet his overhead is higher than any other shop as well do to area and sq. footage. It's a big store, very neat and organized. Nice people as well however I don't like the fact that the Coventry police often sit across the street and watch the store. I've made the drive a few times only to pass by the store when I see the cops camped out. I'm legal but I still don't need any bullshit. At this time I feel comfortable shopping at Mother natures and If I ever loose that feeling Ill go else where. In the next year or two there will be many more shops opening so they had all better kick up their game or they'll be out of a job.
