Hello I have reserva privada Sour Kush and getting to the size where I think I can start taking clones( almost 1.5 months old from fem seed). I am still in veg, should I take cuts know, or sould I put in flower and take the cuts with in the first week or two? I am not sure since the plant is from a femenized seed if it matters when to take the clones. I found a lot of info on when to take clones but couldnt find a specific answer on when to off a mother plant that was grow from femenized seeds. Any info would be great PEACE!!!!

I take my first cuttings within the first week after going into 10/14, and my last cuttings at 30 days into flower. I've taken clones at 8 weeks, takes about 3 weeks to pop roots at this late date

You can take cuttings anytime she's big enough to give them.
Simply being from a Feminized seed does not make it different from a standard female plant.

I find it easier for the clone to root when took during early 2-4 weeks from seed, which mean cutting a few branches from the bottom of the stalk which helps later on in the mothers life to focus growth upwards and in aeration, foliage touching the soil and bugs.

Cuttings are easier to become clones if they are large enough to have a hole in the center of the stem. I've found
that donor moms need to be at least 4 weeks old to give me a success rate over 90%. It takes a while for a mom to become large enough herself
to generate a branch large enough to have a hole.

Most of my strains start to show sex after 7-10 days in the flowering room. If the mom has started to show sex she is much more difficult to clone.
If mom has started to flower first you will wait 4-6 weeks for clones to root vs. 7-10 days. CAUTION -- sometimes a plant will start to flower as soon
as she hits 12/12 without the 7-10 cushion for cloners. So get them cuttings before she switches rooms, eh?

BigSteve.
