Oh man, thats very impressive. The thing about having a movie collection so big,it's hard to find something to watch,I could sit in front of that collection for damn nere a hour, and could not make my mind up,to what I wanted to watch lol..

To me, Crimson Tide and Hunt For Red October are good anytime, but after the few dog threads lately, I watched 8 Below the other day.

Could be leaves of grass I had a ripped DVD version so could have been a stoner moment but if there is a stoned Edward norton then yeah that's it he has some awesome rotating hydro like setup pretty nifty. I saw a similar grow on here years ago,a bunch of PVC wrapped around the room with like damns inside the pipe anyone remember that shit?

Here are the updated pix...there are a Helluva lot. Still have some boxes to open and put up. Now if you want me to separate them into genre and sub-topics I can do that...it'll just take me a while :)

How long did that take you to collect?

Are they all DVD's & BlueRay or do you have some VHS's in there too?

Also, one last thing, any idea on the price of the entire collection? Was it worth it?

True Romance. There is a scene between Hopper and Walken that is one fo the best of all time. Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Scarface, Heat, No Country for Old Men, Sexy Beast, some classics. Thousands of great films in all genres.

Agreed, Fargo is another awesome movie

Dicaprio has been on his game lately, Blood Diamond, Shutter Island and Inception are all brilliant movies, that dude is one hell of an actor!

If you haven't seen it yet, check out Lawless. Holy shit, what an unbelievable movie! Tom Hardy is the baddest motherfucker alive in that movie! Great acting all around!

Personally I don't think it was worth it, but some are appreciating in value
Many are Blu-Ray, most are DVD, and no VHS there
I worked for a consumer electronics company and did a lot of trade outs with Ingram Entertainment (Distributor) so MANY were free
I have no idea of the amount spent or the value of the collection...it prolly started around 1999 or 2000...been retired since 2003
Most of them belong to my daughter, although I gave her all of mine...collection grew a lot 2009-2010....she was in film studies, too.
